Chapter 22: Winter Mericle

Lucy's POV

(Play music)

I was dragged down onto the snowy ground to then feel millions of icicles hit my side. My hair covered my face but I could see who was this threat, my flower crow flew off my head to soon causing all attention to me. Suddenly from the boat I could see a hand be raised and is holding my crown.

"Now who is this...." Said a snake like voice. The man then popped his head above and everyone started to cheer very loud. Girls started to run to the boat with pens and papers. Suddenly Sting lifts me up and holds me close to his chest. I finally knew Sting was hiding my eyes away from the guy from the boat... It was.... Natsu.

I hugged Sting really tight thinking this was just a stupid dream.

"This can't be real Sting...." I mumble.

"No this is real, open your eyes and go." Sting says and pushes me away from him.

"It's mine." I say holding up my hand.

All the girls head turn towards me with evil in glare.

The next thing I feel is vibration as the man walks closer...

"Here you go Miss." Natsu speaks handing me the crown.

"Be more carful now..." He says.

"Ok Natsu..." I mumble only to then cover my mouth.

"If you know who I am... Why aren't you being one of the crazy fan girls?" He says continuing to stare at me.

"Because you have not yet to notice me...Natsu." I look up to show my whole face with tears falling down my red cheeks.

"Lucy?" Natsu says grabbing my shoulders and dragging me closer to his face... So close that I have to turn my head, still feeling his warm breath on my face.

I slowly nod while turning my head only to see the fan girls crazy eyes darting at me, plotting my kill.

"What are you doing here!! At this time!!" He shouts at me, shaking my body a little too hard causing me to fall over into the snow.

Sting then runs over to me and helps me stand up, as I brush snow and wipe wet tears away from my clothing I look up to see that Natsu's face has gone from Happy to angry at the sight of Sting. Natsu then charges at Sting with a flame fist to his back. But I though of something quick...

I jump in front of the attack and get punched across the icy ground skidding in pain. I could see Sting and Natsu's eyes widen in fear and I made contact with the fist. Sting then ran over to me as Natsu watched. Natsu then backed up and all the girls crowded around his back area.

"Lucy!" Sting yelled.

"I'm fine.." I mumble as I struggle to get up.

"You're not fine Lucy!" He yelled lifting me up.

I look over at Natsu to find his eyes still wide, I let one tear roll down my face to show him how much pain I felt. I could feel Sting tighten his grip on me as he turned his head towards Natsu. Sting then looks down at me and I nod him a 'no' he then takes me back in silence.

He sets me down by the tree stump and places a drop on my finger, then his. When we are finally small enough tries to lift me up, I then place my hand in front of him.

"I can get up now..." I say as I stand up, take one step and fall again.

"Lucy!" Sting yells.

"I'm sorry, I did this to you, I told you to go to him." Sting says lifting me up.

"You did nothing..." I mumble as I fall asleep in his arms.

Natsu's POV

When I saw Sting it made my blood boil. But when I saw Lucy slide across the ice my body heat sank. So after I saw them leave I ran to the boat and grasped onto the bottle I've been saving before I saw Lucy again. I then ran and ran until I knew were I was again.

When I finally made it to the fallen tree I saw last night in a dream, that Lucy made an amazing house in side the tree. So I took a sip from the bottle and waited, when I was finally the right size I ran into the tree.

Lucy's POV

I woke up in my bed with only able to see white. I then realized that it was a letter from Sting.

Dear Lucy,

I had to leave to go home, I did check you often, you seem to be fine, just rest though.

~ Sting

"Oh how nice..." I said to myself.

"Yeah, I don't like that Sting guy..." Said a voice across the room.

I the screamed and fell outside the window getting caught with the curtains. I then fell onto the ice, the thin ice, and smashed through.

When I fell to the bottom I landed on something small. I then picked it up and looked at it to only drop it back onto my lap. The cold water was so cold that I fell unconscious.

Third POV

Natsu was startled when Lucy fell out of the window. But when she did he laughed at her mistake. But what he missed was the loud splash of Lucy drowning. After a few seconds of laughing Natsu then walked to the window...

"Lucy you crack me up." He laughed looking over the windowsill.

All Natsu found was a blanket sinking into the water along with the blonde.

Natsu then started to freak out and he dove into the water...

Natsu's POV

I was so scared, I dove in and started to swim for her. But when I go to there her skin was pail and cold. I then lifted her up and started to run to our boat...

"Only Wendy can help this..." I thought, letting the cold air hit my wet body.

This is my last chapter for today... Sorry I just can't write another one, I might though!! Ok well I hope you guys enjoy!!
