Chapter 12: fly away

Lucy's POV

Natsu then lifted up my arm, and kiss my wound. My body was freezing cold, then suddenly warm again. I fell into my knees and started to pant.

"Lucy?!" Natsu shouts.

I fall back and lay in the cold ocean painting in, and out.

"Lucy, stop doing that..." Natsu says with a serious look on his face.

"I... Can't..." I breath.

Natsu eyes then go wide, he then lifts me up and runs to the ship, Mira then walks over with a wet rag and a thermometer.

"Lucy has a fever, she just broke it too, you need to let her rest." Mira said.

Natsu then lifted me up and brought me to his room, he then took a towel and wiped my arms, feet, face, and legs. He then payed me down in his bed and turned off the lights. The sounds of the ocean were so calming that I fell asleep in no time.

I woke up to find sun rays I my face. And a pinkett sitting next to me.

"Good morning Lucy." He said calmly.

"Hi Natsu..." I mumbled

"You feeling better?" He asked.

"Much better." I say

"Can I show you something Natsu?" I ask.

"What is it Lucy?" Natsu ask.

I then jump out of bed, and grasp my fingers on the potion bottle, and started to run. Natsu ran after me into the forest (wow we go there a lot) when we reach to the fallen tree I walk to the very edge and stop. Natsu then comes up behind me a while later.

"What wrong?" He ask.

I then take a sip of my drink that is almost gone and put a drop on my finger and Natsu's finger. We both lick it at the same time, and we begin to shrink when we are fully shrunken, my pink wings appear.

"That's so cool!!" Natsu shouts.

I then fly around and land back on the ground, to get used to flying again. Then I take my hand and wipe it across my hand. When I look at my hand, the golden flakes are spread across my hand, known as pixie dust. I then walk up to Natsu and place my hand on his chest, suddenly he starts to lift up off the ground.

"Come with me.." I say

I hold out my hand and he takes a hold of my hand, I slowly walk off the edge of the tree and fly on top of the water.

"Lucy, this is amazing!" Natsu says.

I let go of his hand and fly at rods the lake, with Natsu hot on my trail.

"Tag!! I'm it!" Natsu shouts using his fire as a boost.

'He such a child' I thought to my self.

As I flew to the center of the lake a swarm of lily pads float there. I then gracefully land on one of the lily pads.
However Natsu behind me, slammed into me causing me to fall over, with him on top of me.

"Get off me... You're heavy.." I said

Since my back was facing him, my face is staring right down into the water, my hair dropping into it. Just then a huge fish comes up from under us and drags me, by my hair, under water.
Natsu holds onto my shoulders and to the lily pad, we finally get that fish off of me after a horrible game of
tug-a-war.

"Owie, that really hurt." I said rubbing my head.

"At least you weren't eaten!" Natsu says pouncing on me.

"Shut up." I say punching his arm.

We finally make it back to the boat before night, still in our little form.

"I have nearly any of my potion left, and if we drink this we not have any left." I explain.

"Ok then we will just be like this." Natsu says back.

"Ok..." I say with a sweat drop.

As I get into bed, Natsu can sleep at the edge and I will sleep by the wall, with a huge space between us.

I wake up to find Happy looking down at me in the light of day.

"Happy you scared me.." I mumbled.

"Sorry Lucy.." Happy said.

"Oi!!!! Lucy!!!" Natsu screamed showing that he is back to normal.

"That's great Nats-"

Suddenly my whole body is flung up into the air from Natsu jumping onto the bed, he is such a child I tell you.

"Natsuuuu!!" I yell falling back down onto the bed, then flung off the bed.

When I land on the ground I notice the black box is still there from two days ago.

"Lucy?" I hear from behind me. But when I turn around all I see is the face of a pinkett.

"What's that?" I ask knowing what it is.

"Oh that..." He then skids further under the bed, along with me walking on his side.

"It's your necklaces, you dropped it."

My heart suddenly filled with joy to see how much he cared about this.
I ran over to Natsu and hugged his nose.

"Thank you so much, for everything." I say as I give him a kiss on his nose.

And when I look up, his face is tinted with the slightest pink, like his hair...
