So this theory states that Marlin (Nemo's dad) is actually trying to save his son only because it's time to mate and because Clownfish are able to change their gender in a single sex environment and he and Nemo are the only male Clownfish he is gonna change into a female and then mate with Nemo. Talk about incest!
Another theory states that Nemo actually died along with all his siblings and mother at the beginning of the film and is actually on a journey along with Dory on the road to recovery and is going through the five stages of grief (Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and finally Acceptance). Interesting fact the name Nemo actually means nobody
