The Loa Within (The Care Bears)

Hey people I'm back again with a conspiracy theory that I think Is probably more interesting than any other one I have done!

This theory states that The Care Bears are actually living references to the ancient magical Voodoo religion. Voodoo is an ancient religion which originated from Voudon. This religion is commonly found to be practiced in Haiti, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and more famously here in the United States in Louisiana. This religion has gods know as "Loa" who each hold a responsibility over a specific part of life. Voodoo has had a huge stigma thanks to Hollywood as it has been forever portrayed as a dark form of magic with voodoo dolls, zombies, and hexes. This is not the case however as real life "voodoo" (Hoodoo) has priests and priestesses are helmets and communicators with the Loa. All Loa have symbols called "Veves" and this is where our theory begins. The theory states that each of the symbols on the Care Bears stomachs are veves. Care Bear is similar to the word "Carrefours" which is the heart of the Voodoo world.

Love-a-lot bear has been compared to the Loa Erzulie who's domain is Love and Motherhood. Friend Bear is the Loa , Papa Legba  who is the messenger of the Loa. Cheer Bear represents the Rainbow Damballa. It goes on and on. The Care Bears are shown to travel typically by magical means which could be a referenced of how Voodoo was spears over to the new world.  What makes this theory scarily interesting is that character animator on the show Lester Myers had allegedly vanished. He left only one letter claiming he was leaving to discover the origin of the Care Bears and was found he had bought a ticket to Haiti!
