The old guy left leaving the twins and Mike to guard us. They were sitting at a table. Reading and plying on their phones. By the way they took mine.
I sat at the edge of my cell the closest that I dare from Malik cell. These bars stink and my instinct screamed 'danger'.
Malik wrists were bloody because he was pulling at them hard.
"Stop" I whispered. It's no use we can't use our powers
I tried to tell him through my eyes.
He sighed and slide down the wall.
We are staring at each other for a moment.
"Look at that. The monsters are in love" one of the twins said.
I sighed and turned to them "What happen to you?" I asked Mike
He glared at me for a moment then stood up "You happen to me. You're a monster" he yelled
"No, You're the monsters. Do you know how many souls did you kill in the hotel incident demon AND humans" I said calmly staring at his eyes.
He flinched slightly "They were idiot helping demons to invade us" he yelled
I sighed "He brain washed you" I stated then turned around to look at Malik who smiled a small smile to reassure me and I smiled back.
Apparently Mike didn't like that because he walked to my cell and held the bars "Don't you get it? We will kill you and all demons cleaning the earth from you" he yelled
The door was open and a man who looked about thirties came in. he was wearing a lab coat and carrying a notebook and a plastic container filled with test tubes, syringes and all the freaky laboratory things.
Not good. I started to panic.
"Mike" he said nodding. Mike got a shot gun and aims it at Malik and shot. "Nooooo" I screamed running to the bars and holding them but I let go after the hissing sound of flesh scaling and the stinging.
"He is not died he is sedative" he said in a bored voice.
"We need your corporation and this is the only way"
Malik was on the floor out cold.
The guys walked to his cell with wires and they stuck them to his arms, legs and torso.
Then they locked the cell.
The lab coat guy sat on a chair two feet away from my cell. He opened the notebook and started writing.
Mike was standing to his left facing Malik cell holding a switch attached to the wires on Malik. This is bad.
Malik groaned. Apparently they didn't give him that much sedative.
"Good he is waking up. Let's start easy" he told me in his monotone voice.
"Are you really a princess?" he asked
"Yes"
The guys just sat there watching me even Mike's brothers came to watch.
"Are you the heir?" he asked
"Is this it?" I asked "The whole group?"
"Please answer the question" he said
"I will but can you answer me first?"
"You're not in the position to demand answers" he said looking at Mike who smirked and press the switch.
Malik screamed in pain as they electrocute him.
I screamed with him. "Please, stop". Where is sweet Mike? They are monsters
"Are you the heir?" he asked again
"Yes"
"Why are your eyes always red?"
"I can't change them back" let them think it's a weakness.
"Is there demons that have eyes like yours?"
"No" I don't know any flesh eaters who is still alive
"How did you hide your wings all these years?" he asked
"I didn't have wings back then" I said
He looked skeptical. He looked at Mike. Oh no.
Malik didn't scream this time he just looked away from me and shook. But I did scream.
