Back in the throne room, the battle between Lunar, Porter and Kylan was starting to turn in Lunar's favor. Porter and Kylan had managed to get a few hits in, but since his battle with Justin, Lunar had gotten better at defending himself.

Kylan slashed at Lunar with his swords, but Lunar jumped out of the way as they came close to him. "He's too fast!" Kylan shouted.

Porter was busy blocking against Lunar's claws with his scale shield. "Tell me something I don't know!" Porter shouted back.

"I'm tired of these games," Lunar said, shrinking back to his normal size. He swiped his claws at the air behind him, opening a small portal that he jumped into, the portal disappearing behind him.

It was silent for a moment as Porter and Kylan stood alone, not letting their guard down for a second. Then, out of nowhere, Lunar's hand came through a small portal and scratched at Porter. Porter turned with surprise, which barely saved his life. By turning Porter caused Lunar's claws to cut into Porter's arm instead of his neck, leaving five deep gashes behind. He tried to grab Lunar, but before he could, Lunar pulled his hand back into the portal and closed it behind him.

Kylan and Porter were helpless to stop Lunar as he continued to scratch at them. They tried to defend themselves, but before they could react, Lunar would attack them again.

Then Kylan came up with a plan. "Back to back!" he told Porter.

Porter nodded as he stood back to back with Kylan. "Now what?" he asked Kylan.

Kylan didn't answer, but lifted his sword so that he was holding it in front of his face. He put his hand flat against the metal of the blade and took a deep breath. Four duplicates of his sword began to appear and circle around the two, each one a different color. The blades were red, blue, gray, and yellow. Kylan spun his blade around so that the blade was facing the ground, the duplicate blades stopping at different points around the two and imitating the movement. Kylan lifted his blade up and stabbed it into the ground, the duplicates rising high into the air then coming down like meteors.

As soon as the blades hit the ground they erupted into a column of an element based on their colors. The red sword turned into a column of fire, the blue sword turned to a column of water, the gray sword turned to a tornado, and the yellow sword turned to a column of lightning. Kylan's sword caused the ground around them to lift into the air and slam back down to the ground, creating shockwaves that rocked the whole room.

When Lunar came out of the portal to attack them again, he was met with the elemental pillars. He was going to jump out of the way, but his reaction time was slowed by the shockwaves throwing him off-balance and allowing him to be struck by all the pillars at once. Porter and Kylan shielded their eyes as the columns erupted in an explosion.

When they uncovered their eyes, Lunar was on the ground, struggling to stand. Porter walked over to the struggling were-pyre and kicked him in the face, knocking him out. "That's for my arm," Porter said. He turned to Kylan. "When did you learn to do that?"

"I did some private training," Kylan said. "Improving my magic skills and things like that."

"Well I would say that they've definitely improved," Porter said as he looked down at his arm and saw that they had begun healing. "Good thing I heal like a reptile." He and Kylan then headed for the stairs to help out their friends.

Back on the castle roof, Sam, Lucas, and Alpha were beginning to get worried about what was happening in the fight between Striker and Justin. Neither one of them had come back down for a while.

Sam was about to say something when Lucas caught something out of the corner of his eye. "Look!" he exclaimed as he pointed at a body falling down to the ground and landing in the forest area.
