Deep got ready for the movie, he was going to watch with Ashi. He came out of his room excited to meet his love but was stopped by his mother.

Vishakha: Kaha?

Deep: Mummy mai movie dekhne ja rha hoon.

Vishakha: Kal diwali hai, ghar mein kitne kaam hain aur tujhe movie dekhne jana hai?

Deep: Mujhe koi kaam nhi hai par abhi.

Vishakha: Mai de rahi hoon na kaam. Mithai ka order diya tha humne, toh unhone mithai toh bana li par woh log bol rahe hai woh deliver nhi kar payenge. Toh tu car leke ja, air mithai ke dabbe le aa.

Deep: Par mummy mai hi kyu?

Vishakha: Tere papa apni office ki Diwali party mein gaye hue hai. Anu kuch kapdo ke kaam se bahar gayi hai. Raj aur Deepu deepak lane gaye hain.

Deep whined: Parso toh aapne itne deepak laye the.

Deep groaned: Theek hai.

Vishakha left the place and went inside their drawing room, while Deep called Ashi to inform her about the sudden work.

Ashi picked up the call and spoke: Mai abhi tumhe hi call karne wali thi.

Deep: Mujhe lagta hai humein movie ka plan cancel karna padega. Kal Diwali hai toh mummy ne kaam pakda diya hai.

He heard Ashi laughing from the other side of the phone.

Ashi: Mujhe bhi kuch kaam aa gya hai.

Deep: Kya kaam?

Ashi: Mujhe puja ka kuch samaan lana hai.

Deep: Hum dono saath chalte hain na.

Ashi: Achha idea hai. Movie ko ditch karte hain.

Deep: Mai tumhara bahar wait karta hoon.

Both of them hang the call and came of their house. They sat in Deep's car and drove away.

The next day everyone were busy with the festival work. Vishakha sent Raj to market to buy flowers for Pooja. He was at a flower shop waiting for he florist to make the garlands. Someone entered the shop and he/she noticed Raj standing there.

The person who entered called out: Raj!

Raj turned to look at who called him and noticed it was Arjun, the guy who was gossiping about him in the college the day before.

Raj faked a smile: Happy Diwali!

Arjun: Same to you!

Raj turned his gaze back to the flowers to avoid conversation but Arjun didn't shut his mouth.

Arjun: Kisine mujhe bataya ki kal tum meri aur Shweta (the girl he was gossiping with) ki baatein sun rahe the.

Raj chose to stay silent as he didn't want to argue with him and ruin his mood on a festival.

Arjun: Tujhe pata hai na tujhe dusro ki baatein nahi sunni chahiye.

Raj decided to just say one sentence and leave this place quickly.

Raj: Tujhe bhi pata hai na ki dusro ki personal life ke baare mein discuss nhi karna chahiye.

Arjun: Agar tujhe koi problem thi toh tu aa ke humse baat karta par bacho ki tarah jaa ke apne bhai se complain karne ki kya zarurat thi?
