Chapter 49

After the movie the gang decided to ask Deep what was going on. So, they went to the Rai house. Everyone made themselves comfortable in the living room waiting to catch Deep red handed. Soon enough Deep came out of his room, looking like he had his energy drained out. Deep got startled when he noticed the whole gang sitting in the living room.

Deep: Tumlog yaha kya kar rahe ho?

Swati lifted her eyebrows giving him a questioning look: TU yaha kya kar raha hai? Tu toh apne dost se milne bahar gya tha na?

Deep didn't know what excuse to make. He just awkwardly chuckled thinking of a excuse to make.

Deep: Mai bas abhi ghar aaya bahar se.

Vaish: Pajame mein bahar gya tha tu? Teri fashion sense itni bigad gayi hai?

Swati: Jhoot nahi. Sach sach bol.

Deep sighed not finding any excuse or lie to tell.

Deep: Aap log sab mere room mein chalo. Bahar baat nahi kar sakte.

Swati shrugged and got up to go to Deep's room with the others following her. They went to Deep's room and Deep brought some cola and juice for them. Vaish signalled him to sit and he did as asked.

Swati: Spill!

Deep: Woh actually mera jaane ka bilkul bhi man nahi tha.

Preeti: Kyu? Hum dushman ho gaye h tere? Humare saath jaane ka man nahi hota tera?

Deep: Woh bas... Mujhe kisi ki bohot zyada yaad aa rahi thi.

Everybody knew who he missed like that, it was so obvious.

Avu: Ashi ki?

Deep's eyes widened in shock at the correct guess by Avu.

Avu: Shock hone ki zarurat nahi hai. We already sensed it.

Vaish: You aren't slick.

Deep: Woh jab se gayi hai. Man hi nahi lag raha mera

Sid sang: Itna pyaar kisi pe pehli baar aaya hai

Jaan teased: Lovesick boy.

Deep slightly blushed at those comments.

Faiz asked: Tune confess kar diya kya?

Deep shook his head as an answer.

Sid: Toh kab karne ka irada hai?

Deep: Woh yaha aayegi tab toh kuch kar paunga na.

Pandit: Woh log parso aa jayenge. Toh dekh le tujhe kya karna hai dekh le.

Deep: Mujhe confess karna chahiye kya?

Abhi: Ofcourse. Late mat kar.

Deep: Par kaise karu?

Sid: Kaise karu kya hota hai? Bas bol do apne dil ki baat.

Deep: Par aise thodi achanak se ja ke seedha bol sakta hoon ki "Ashi mai tumse pyaar karta hoon" koi context toh hona chahiye na.

Sid: Dekh tu usey kahi akele mein le ke jana. Aur seedha seedha apne dil ki baat bol dena.

Deep: Agar reject ho gya toh?

Faiz: Tere reject hone ke chances bohot kam hai dar mat.

Abhi: Kuch big scale proposal karna. Jaise tu usko 1000 roses de sakta. Ya sab college walo se baat kar ke, sab milke dance karna uske liye.

Jai: Pagal hai kya tu Abhi? Mujhe nahi lagta Ashi ko kuch aisa pasand aayega.

Swati: Usko simple cheezein pasand hai.
