Chapter 54

Raj and Deep  got home after picking Deepu and Aayu up from their school. The girls of the gang wanted to hang out together, so Ashi left with the girls and RajDeep picked up kids from school.
The three siblings saw their parents sitting in the living room which was a little unusual since it was afternoon time, they should've been busy. Deepu tiredly walked towards her parents and sat in between them.

Raj: Mom and Dad, aaj aap log yaha living room mein is time pe? Usually toh aap log kaam kar rahe hote ho na is time pe?

Ignoring Raj's questions Vishakha asked: Anu kaha hai?

Deep: Woh baaki sab ladkiyo ke saath bahar gayi hai.

Vishakha nodded and then turned to Deepu.

Vishakha: Yaha kya baith gayi, jao apne room mein room mein jaa ke change karo aur bag jagah pe rakho.

Deepu sighed getting up and marched towards her room. After Deepu left Vishakha signalled the boys to sit down infront of her, which they did quickly.

She let out a shaky breath and started speaking: Tumhare nanaji ke heart ki surgery honi hai.
The information left the boys in shock and worry, none of them had any words yo express their emotions.

Vishakha continued: Mai chahti hoon tum dono jao apne nanaji ke paas, aur unke saath waqt bitao.

Deep: Aap nahi aayengi?

Vishakha's heart broke when she had to say no to this question, she shook her head very softly as tears formed in her eyes.

Vishakha: Mai baad mein aaungi. Tum dono jaoge na?

Deep held his mother's hand and nodded, agreeing immediately.

Deep: Humari tickets karwa dijiye, hum kal hi chale jayenge.

Vishakha looked at Raj for an answer. He didn't have time to think about whatever shit was going on his life, so he agreed as well.

Vishakha: Mai abhi apne secretary ko call kar ke tickets book karwati hoon. Tum dono ja ke packing start kar lo..... Deepu ko mai samjha dungi.

Deep and Raj left for their respective rooms and started with their packing.

Anu entered Rai house and the first thing she noticed was Deep packing a bag with some documents and medicines. She walked towards
Deep and asked him

Anu : Yeh kya ho raha hai? Tu kahi ja raha hai.

Deep: Mai aur Raj Ahemdabad ja rahe hain, nanaji ke paas. Unke saath rehne.

It took Anu a solid second to interpret his words.

Anu: Kya? Mera matlab hai, aise achanak se kyu?

Deep: I know yeh sudden decision tha but hum dono ki marzi hai. Nanaji ke paas kisi ka hona bohot zaruri hai, itne saalo se woh akele hain.

Anu in her mind: Yeh log humesha ke liye nanaji ke paas ja rahe hain?

Deep hurried to Raj's room to check up on his packing while Anu went to her room processing what was happening. She closed the door of her room and sat there, her back resting on the door.

Anu: Sab khatam!

The thin string that attached Anu and Raj after all the problems was about to get cut. From now onwards there won't be any excuse to see him or have any type of interaction with him. Even when she wasn't talking to him, there was a sense of satisfaction in her mind that atleast she was able to see him from time to time. She couldn't stop her eyes from pooling and some tears went down her cheeks. She realised how pathetically she was in love. But she has to end it now, there's no future. And she has to tell the others about RajDeep.
