Deep halted his car infront of Ashi's house to pick up Aayu. He was taking Deepu and Aayu to school like usual, but it wasn't usual for him because he didn't have Ashi by his side. A piece of him was missing, he missed her like crazy even though it had only been hardly twelve hours.
Aayu came out of the house and sat on the back seat with Deepu.
Aayu greeted: Good morning!
Deep and Deepu: Good morning!
Deepu: Ashi Di ke bina khali khali lag rha hai.
Deep mumbled to himself: Mujhe bhi.
The whole ride was rather quite, because normally the conversations in the car centred Ashi.
He dropped the kids at their school and that's when it started hitting him more, he was alone. Normally he would talk to Ashi about random topics, laughing and giggling while driving to the college but he was alone now.
Deep: Woh kya kar rahi hogi abhi?
His mind kept thinking about what she must be doing.

Raj and Anu were having their breakfast, sitting side by side on dining table.
Anu: Tu aaj mujhe apne saath college le chalega na?
Raj was waiting for her to ask this, he was extremely happy with how they were right now.
Raj: Ofcourse.
After eating, they exited the house and departed for college. She was sitting behind him on his bike and holding his bag for support, how she always did. It was like everything that happened between them in the recent time just disappeared. Both of them were actually satisfied with how everything was going.
They reached college and went to the lawn where the others were sitting. Everyone got excited seeing Anu.
Avu: Anu!!!
Avu quickly hugged her, she really missed her and was worried about her.
Breaking out of the hug Anu asked: Kaise ho tumlog sab?
Reem: Bohot badiya.
Anu: Mai Ashi and Munna bhaiya se nahi mil payi. Kal aati toh unse bhi mil leti. Ab hafte bhar unka wait karna hoga.
Swati: Koi nhi. Aa jayenge woh log jaldi hi.
After some more chatting all of them went to their respective classes. Anu and Raj sat together in the class too, like how they normally did. Faiz was noticing all this, and things just didn't sit right in his mind. He could sense that something was weird and he was worried about Anu. He decided to talk to Raj after classes.

After two classes they had a break in between, so they gathered in the cafeteria.
Pandit: Assignments mil gaye h hum logo ko. Raj, Vaish, Jai, Abhi and Preeti kaam pe lag jao.
Vaish: Humein bhi pata hai. Boss mat ban yaha pe.
Swati: Pata hai agar, toh abhi se hi note down kr lo ki kya topics hai and kya stationary lani hai.
Sid: Ajeeb baat nahi hai ki haarne wali team mein sirf ek hi junior hai?!
Vaish to Raj: Tu atleast ek kaam toh theek se kar sakta tha.
Raj: Mujhe mat blame kro. Faiz ko kro. Itna slow hai woh.
Faiz giggling: Toh matlab juniors ke saare assignments Raj akele krega?
Raj: Tu mere saath krega.
Faiz: Mai kyu karu? Mai toh bet mein involved bhi nahi tha.
Raj: Par apne dost ki baat maan ke pehle confess nahi kar sakta tha?
Faiz spoke like an adult was talking to a kid: Apni galti ka blame dusro pe dalna buri baat hoti hai.
Raj playfully gripped Faiz's neck and the other's giggled at them fighting like kids.
After all of their classes ended Faiz wanted to talk to Raj about his observation on Anu but before he reached the parking lot in search of Raj, AnuRaj were already sitting on Raj's bike, to go home. Anu waved Faiz goodbye and he waved back with a worried smile.

Deep debated in his mind about texting Ashi or not while in his bed. It was 11:45 in the night and he really wanted to know how she was doing. The two sides of his mind, the lover side and the sane side couldn't get to a conclusion.
Deep's lover side: Message kar hi daal.
Deep's sane side: Par agar woh so rahi hogi toh? Aur aadhi raat ko message karna weird lagega.
Deep's lover side: Par jaan na hai na ki woh kaisi hai.
He whined flapping his legs under the blanket. He opened his and Ashi's chat and typed, "Hey!" But immediately thought that it was too boring of a conversation starter, so he erased it.
He then typed, "Are you awake?"
Deep: Meh! Yeh achhi si vibe nahi de rha.
He erased his typed message again and then typed "I miss you"
Deep's sane side: Aye pagal hai kya? Itni bhi emotions ki nahi sunni chahiye.
He was about to erase the message again but his phone slipped from his hand and fell on his face. He winced and then picked up his phone again, only to see that he accidentally tapped on the send key.
Deep: Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!
He immediately unsent the message with his quick reflex. He sighed in relief because it would have been embarassing if she read it. Unexpectedly Ashi messaged him, now.
Ashi-
I miss y'all too....
Deep: Shit! Padh liya isne.
He felt a tinge of sadness in his heart reading the "y'all". She missed everyone not him.
Deep-
How was your day?
Ashi-
It was stressful. Bohot sara kaam kiya, bohot time tak meeting mein thi.
Tum logo ne aaj kya kiya?
Deep-
Anu wapis aa gayi aaj.
And assignments mil gye sab ko.
Tum dono tension mat lena, tumhare assignments peechhe se complete ho jayenge.
Ashi-
Yeh Anu se toh baat karni padegi. Do din pehle nahi aa sakti thi!?
Deep-
Achhe se khair lena uski.
Ashi-
Achha Deep, Aayu kaisa hai? Usne school jaate time pareshan toh nahi kiya na?
Deep-
Bilkul bhi nahi. Tum nahi hoti ho toh samajhdaar ho jata hai. Na hi school jaate time aur na hi school se aate time usne koi badmashi ki.
Ashi-
Tum na usey yaad dila dena ki use school mein drawing submit karni hai and friday ko uska test hai.
Deep-
Ashi, calm down! Tumhare paas already bohot cheezen hai tension lene ke liye. Mai Aayu ka khayal rakh lunga.
Ashi-
Kya karu yaar! Aayu ki tension ho ho jati hai.
Deep-
Tum use chhod ke Darjeeling bhi toh gayi thi na?!
Ashi-
Ha...
Deep-
Mai tumhe message karna band kar rha hoon. Taki tum so jao aur tension lena band kro.
Ashi-
Nahi nahi. Okay, mai aur tension nahi lungi. Hum ab normal baat karte h.
He chuckled reading her reply. They continued to joke around with each other and finally slept after an hour.
