I wake up halfway though the night, to discover that I am not in the spare bed, in the guest room of Tori's house; but in fact in a double bed in a hotel room laying next to Tori. Tori is still asleep so I shake her awake.
"Go away Ivy, I wanna sleep." She says groaning.
"Tori where are we?" I ask. She sits up, rubs her eyes and looks around.
"Looks like a hotel room to me." She states.
"Yeah but where? And where are the boys?" I ask.
"I dunno, maybe we should go find them." She says swinging her legs out of the bed. Both of us are still in yesterday's clothes. We stand up and look around the room. We find both of our bags together with everything in them. I look down to see that there is a white slip of paper that has been placed in my bag. I unfold it to find that it's a note from the boys.
Dear Ivy and Tori,
We couldn't find Tori's key last night when you girls were asleep. We figured we would bring you to stay in a hotel with us. Initially we had planned on going home, but that can wait until morning. You will find Calum and I in the room number 195A. It's down the corridor and around the left corner.
Hopefully you have had a good sleep when you read this.

Ok so they were in the room down the corridor. Tori and I put our shoes on and decide we will go and see if the boys are awake. It's 1:45am so they most probably will be asleep, we shall see. We walk down the corridor to hear muffled shouting. As we near the corner, it becomes louder. I make out the words "How could you!?"
I grab Tori's arm and feel the releasing come over me. Soon enough we are no longer visible to anyone else. She looks at me strangely and I mutter,
"Don't want to be caught in the middle of some drunken men's argument." She nods at me knowingly.
When we turn the corner, we stop in the middle of the corridor in shock. We see all four of the 5sos boys arguing. We know that they can't see us but we back away slowly. We turn the corner and stand against the wall listening. We know we shouldn't eavesdrop. But we do it anyway.
"Out of everything we've been through together, you're going to choose the freak and her friend over your careers and me!?" Ashton says.
"Ash we would never choose them over you." Calum says. Tori's face shows betrayal and hurt, but semi understanding.
"Ashton stop. You're tearing this band apart for no reason. We really like these girls and they are not freaks. When has a girl ever bothered you before? We never judge you on the girls you date, so why should you!?" Luke retorts.
Ashton snorts. "Really you think there is no reason behind it? That they are not freaks? You've seen what she can do with your own eyes. Why don't you make use of them? How do you know that's all she can do? Huh?!" He spits.
"Ashton please stop it. Of course I've seen what she can do. But she can't help that. And it's not going to affect us or you. So back off!" Luke says.
"You're going to throw your career and friendship, all for some girl and her friend!?" Ashton shouts back.
"Ashton! What has come over you? There's nothing wrong with Ivy or Tori!" Calum says.
"Ash I think you are taking this too far. They haven't done anything wrong." Michael states calmly.
"Well I've had enough of it! Okay? Either get rid of the girls or you get rid of me!" He hisses.
"Ashton you can't make us choose. Because right now, you're the one at fault. The girls have done nothing wrong and you are judging them. When have you been one to judge? We were freaks in high school, outcasts. You always said you never understood why people judged us, and here you are doing the same!" Calum shouts back.
"Fine you're gonna choose the girls over me?! Well you can have fun doing the rest of your Australian tour without a drummer!" He says. I then hear stomping coming our way. Tori and I stay flat against the wall and hold a breath. Ashton walks past furious. His face all red, I swear if this was a cartoon, he'd have steam coming out of his ears. We walk around the corner (still invisible), to see the three other boys. Michael looks slightly confused, Calum looks like he's in pain and Luke looks devastated. I just don't understand why. Why would they choose Tori and I, over Ashton?
Tori and I back away slowly and head back to the hotel room. Once the door is shut, Tori whispers "What are we going to do Ivy?" I shake my head tears threatening to spill. I just broke up one of my favourite bands, of all time.
I start packing my bag. Checking to see that we have everything. I turn over the note Luke and Cal wrote and decide to leave them a letter. Tori looks at me understanding but I can tell she is pained.
Dear Luke and Calum,
Thank you for all the times that we shared. Thank you for all the happiness you have brought us. But it appears that we have not brought the same to you and your band. We cannot be the cause of the band splitting up, no matter how much we like both of you. We overheard your conversation with Ashton and it pains us to see you boys fighting. We will be leaving and we don't want to see you again. We don't want it to end this way, but life isn't a fairytale. We are both terribly sorry for doing everything we have done. I hope you can understand.
