Tori and I woke up and went through the usual holiday morning routine. Stay in bed till like 10:00, get up and eat breakfast and watch TV for who knows how long. We went out shopping on some days and out for lunch, but not much happened over the week.

••••••••••••••
"Ivy! Come on I want to get there before everyone else! I want to make it to the shops before everyone! They have like 50% off today!" I roll my eyes. Only Tori would want to be at the shops at 9:30 sharp in the morning. I grab my bag and shoes and bring them into the living area. She glares at me.

"Ivy are you slowing down just to annoy me, because you're doing a damn good job!" Her eyes boring holes into my back as I do up the laces to my converse.

"Okay, okay, I'm ready, chill Tori. We can go now." I say standing up and heading towards the door. She grabs her keys and races towards the car. I hop into the car with her, and we drive down to the local shopping centre.

"Ugh see Ivy! We needed to get here when I said so! The carpark is packed! I'm going to have to park further down the street!" She exclaims. She drives out of the carpark and heads down the street, which is also packed. Wow, I didn't realise how seriously people took their shopping. If you haven't figured out already, I don't really shop very often. This is our 3rd shopping trip in the past two weeks and my feet hurt just at the thought of another day full of walking and wandering through just about every single shop.

Once Tori finds a park, which turns out to be like two blocks away from the shopping centre, we hop out and walk slowly over there. Today is another hot day, and I can't help but thank that today is a more dry heat day than humid. Grey shirts and hot humid weather don't mix well. We walked down the streets dotted with people.

All of a sudden as we are walking a group of paparazzi surround us shouting things at us and cameras flashing continuously. Tori and I look at each other in shock. I start to get a really bad feeling  form in the pit of my stomach. So many questions swirling through my head.
Did they know?
How did they find out?
Are we in trouble?
Did they boys tell them?

So many questions yet none of them were what I was expecting them to shout at us. They all go quiet when one asks us a question. At first it means nothing to me before my head starts to process what she just said.

"Girls we noticed one of you are wearing a shirt with 5 seconds of summer's logo on it, are you fans?" Tori glances at me. Alarmed I look down to see that in the rush I must have shoved on my old 5sos band shirt. The one I was planning on throwing out. Right.

"Umm yeah I guess you could say we are fans. But not really that much anymore. Umm we've kinda grown out of them I guess. But yeah their music is pretty good." I answer laughing nervously. The lady nods knowingly and gives a million dollar smile at us. She looks at Tori and asks her a question.

"Have you girls heard about the riot with the boys and Ashton? What did you think of the band breaking up?" Oh so it appears news travels fast. Tori puts on a smile just as fake as the lady who asked the question.

"Oh yes we have heard about that. We umm didn't realise the band had broken up. We just thought that Ash had just gone on a holiday. Umm yeah...." Tori's confidence starts to drop with each word.

"Ok well thank you girls for your opinions. We've been asking the 5sos fans about what they think. Goodbye girls and thank you." She says her smile still plastered on her fake, plastic, blonde head. And with that the large group of paps leave.

Without even realising it a let out a huge breath that I hadn't even realised I'd been holding. Tori sighs.
"Ivy I thought that they had found out. I almost shat my pants." She says chuckling.

"Me too, Tori. I had a heart attack when they asked us." I say laughing with her.

"Do you just wanna go and get some ice cream, and like not shop today?" She says grinning.

"Yeah maybe some ice cream to cool off, after that conversation." I say smiling.
And with that we linked arms and turned in the opposite direction to the ice cream store, forgetting about the very huge and problematic situation we were in.
