It's now 5:00pm and I've spent most of my birthday on the couch eating chips whilst watching movies. What an exciting way to spend my 18th birthday - note that that was sarcasm. Not one of my friends were free for my birthday.

Whilst I sit groaning about how suckish my life is and watching mean girls for the 900th time in my life, my phone buzzes with a text. I figure it must be my mum considering what day it is today, and the fact that she hasn't said anything about my birthday.

But when I pull my phone out of my pocket the text is from Luke and not my mum. How odd. Not that it's weird for Luke to text me, it's just that my mum is also ignoring me.

"She's probably busy Ivy, God not everything's about you." I mutter.

Luke: Hey Ivy the concert finished early due to the artist being sick. I was wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner?

Ivy: That would be nice thank you Luke. I'd love to go :)

Luke: Great I'll pick you up at 6. Wear something nice :-)

I look at the clock. Shit I have just under an hour to get ready and worse - look nice. I race to my closet to see what I can wear. After pulling out every single clothing item, I find that it's just not what I'm looking for. I decide to raid the back of Tori's closet to see if I can find an old dress of hers. And that's when I find the dress I needed - just a simple black dress. I decide to pair some gold bangles with it and plain black platform heels. As I'm one who has never liked wearing a whole face of makeup I just put on some mascara, bronzer and red lipstick.

I check the time to see that it is 5:50pm, which means that Luke will be here soon. I scroll through my Instagram and Twitter feed, and whilst I'm halfway though my Twitter feed, Luke rings the doorbell. I grab my purse along with my phone and answer the door.

Luke is standing there looking stunning as usual. He's wearing a flannel button down shirt with plain black jeans and boy does he look good. In his hand he holds a single red rose. When he sees me he grins goofily and hands me the rose.

"You look gorgeous." He says his eyes wide.

"I must say you're not too shabby yourself." I say smiling at him.

Luke leads me to the car after I've locked up the house.
"For a beautiful young lady like yourself." He says bowing whilst opening the car door for me. I smile at him and curtesy before getting into the car. He shuts the door and heads around to the other side. We both look at each other and laugh at how proper we were.

We drive for what seems like forever but in reality was probably only twenty minutes. Luke then stops the car outside of a warehouse. I look out the car window expecting to see maybe a restaurant on the other side of a road. But there's only another warehouse.

"Is this the part where you kill me?" I ask jokingly but feeling slightly uneasy. Luke just laughs at my statement and gets out of the car. He helps me out of the car and leads me towards one of the warehouses. We enter though a side door, which is swaying in the wind only attached by one hinge. He leads me through winding corridors and rooms of the warehouse, me stumbling behind him before he abruptly stops.

"Shit I've gotten the wrong place. Boss is not going to be happy." He says running his hand through his hair. He curses and then looks at me in the eye. All of a sudden he pushes me out of the corridor and into a room shutting the door and leaving me alone in the dark.
