It didn't take me long to get out of hospital. But that didn't mean I wasn't still at the hospital. Everyday Luke, Calum and I visited Tori. We'd all been staying in a hotel just down the street. We'd had the option of staying at Tori's place but we had all agreed that it didn't feel right to be there without her. So far it's been a week since the crash and Tori is still in her coma. The doctors aren't sure when she'll get out of it and if she ever will. When they told us this information we all had different reactions. Luke looked at the ground and just went silent. Calum grabbed me and hugged me tight whilst sobbing into my jumper. I just stared straight ahead at the wall not taking in anything. I had known Tori since I was three years old and I was just struggling to process the information. It was like all of a sudden I just boxed up all of my emotions.
Tori's parents were currently overseas in Costa Rica as her father does animal documentaries and her mother is part of the film crew. They couldn't get back here for another three weeks at earliest. For the moment my mum has almost been acting as a temporary mother for Tori, even though Tori wouldn't know that. As soon as my mum had heard about the crash she had flown up. I was currently in one room at the hotel with her, whilst Luke and Cal were next door. Michael and Ash visited occasionally but they still had to get on with their lives. Both Justine and Emma had also visited a couple of times which was really nice of them considering we hadn't known them for that long.
The emotions for all of us at the moment were running low and the hospital could be so draining. Whether you were visiting Tori sitting by her bed listening to the beeps of machines or sitting in the solemn waiting room. We never stayed in the hotel as that was about triple the times worse than the hospital. As we'd been staying for a while we had picked a more cheaper option for a hotel and well the living conditions weren't anything fancy. The ceiling had started to grow mould, the beds were hard as stones and the lamps would flicker on and off regularly.

It was around day 14 of Tori being under her coma that we got a huge shock. Luke, my mum and I had been sitting in the waiting room; Luke playing candy crush on his phone, me picking at my nails and my mum reading a book, that Calum had come rushing out of Tori's hospital room and down the hall, his eyes frantic.
"Come quickly!" He said being running back down the hall and into the room despite the comment from a doctor to tell him to stop running and walk. We all looked at each other before standing up and hurrying into Tori's room.
There was one doctor and two nurses as well as Calum in the room. The nurses and doctor scurrying about. There was lots of loud beeping coming from the machines attached to Tori. They were in such a hastiness that they didn't bother informing us that there should only be two of us in here.
I walk over to Calum and grab him by the shoulder.
"What's going on Calum?" I ask frantically.
"I don't know. I was just napping in a chair when the machines all of a sudden started beeping. I grabbed a nurse and then everything started getting hectic from there." He says.
I try talking to the nurses but they are bustling around the room ignoring me. I run up to the doctor and ask as to what is going on.
"Excuse me sir, but what is happening to Tori?" I ask him.
"You don't know?" He says looking at me expectantly. I shake my head. He pauses before saying,
"She's woken. She's no longer in a coma."
