I fumble in the dark for a door handle. When I finally find it and yank at the handle I find that is it locked. Great, just great, on my birthday I'm locked in a warehouse in the dark. I turn around and lean against the door. I try to see what is in the rest of the room and fail to see nothing but shadows. I impatiently tap my heels against the floor trying to pass time; only it just makes me panic all the more.

All of a sudden I see a shadow move. My heart starts to beat a million miles as I see the shadow move, slowly approaching me. It moves right towards me and I can see now that it's almost certainly a person - more specifically a woman. Fear starts to rise and I start to panic. What are they going to do to me? Am I going to die? Why would Luke do this to me? So many questions with little answers.

The shadow has finally reached me and is less than two metres away from me. They take one more step towards me and I'm ready to scream for help. I back up against the door trying to keep as far away as possible from this person. They reach their arm around me and I start to yank on the door handle. Funnily enough though, no matter how many times you pull at a handle, the locked door won't open.

And then the lights come on. I shield my eyes from the bright light that has suddenly appeared. When my eyes adjust I take my hand away to see my mum standing before me. And behind her stand Luke, Ashton, Michael, Calum, Tori, Justine, Emma and a man I've never seen before.

"SUPRISE!" They all yell in unison.

"Happy Birthday Sweetheart." My mum says hugging me and kissing me on the cheek.

Luke walks over and grabs my hand leading me into the room.

"You guys scared me." I say my heart still trying to recover from the adrenaline rush.

"That was the idea." Luke says grinning down at me. I smack his arm.

"Aye!" He says. I just smile in innocently at him; he shakes his head laughing.

One by one each person comes and wishes me a happy birthday. After that I get a good look around the room, and I must say it looks gorgeous. Fairy lights dangle from the roof, and there is a table full of all sorts of different foods, which excites me.

"So what exactly is this place? Did you just set up in an old rundown warehouse?" I ask no one in particular.

"No it's a restaurant that has private rooms for functions and is set up in an old run down warehouse. The hallways are kept looking old for both decoration... And for surprises, like what we just did to you." Justine explains.

"Who's idea was this?" I ask in almost a whisper.

Luke walks up to me and hugs me from behind.

"Mine." He says whispering into my ear, sending shivers down my spine. I turn around and look up at him directly into his eyes.

"Thank you." I say whispering into his ear now hugging him from the front.

"You're a pretty good actor by the way!" I say laughing up at him.

He just chuckles and says, "I think I shall stick to performing for now."

"I think it's time to dance!" Michael shouts over everyone talking, moving and pressing a button.

Loud disco music pumps through the speakers and everyone gets up and starts disco dancing. I start laughing when Tori grabs me and shows me moves they would have done in the eighties. Soon enough the whole room is filled up with smiles and laughter.

Mum walks up to me whilst I'm dancing with Tori and grabs my hand leading me over to the only unknown person in the room.

"Ivy I would like you to meet someone!" Mum says shouting to talk to me over the music.

"Okay!" I respond with. I look at the man I've never met, a feeling in my gut telling me I've seen him somewhere before.

"Ivy this is Paul, Paul this is Ivy." She says still trying to shout over the music. I shake the mans hand and then it clicks.

"Dad?"
