Connor-
I found it nearly impossible to get through the day at school, the only upside is I think it's Friday. I didn't speak to anyone unless I had to. I don't even look at anyone. Jacob's question still haunts me. Are things really getting that bad that even my happy go lucky innocent little brother is worried? Are my parents really getting a divorce?
"Mr. Adam's would you answer the question please?" Mr. Long asks, "Mr. Adams?"
"Yes Mr. Long?" I look up keeping my eyes off target.
"Never mind, but please stay after class for me." He says.
"Mr. Long." I begin quietly, "Never mind." I find it completely pointless to argue. I never win anyway. The best that could happen is they call my parents and no one needs that.
"Mr. Adams," He continues, can he find someone else to torment today? "Flip to 450 of your text book and read for us the first two paragraphs." I stare blankly at him my desk empty of anything besides the paper and pencil I need for notes. He never gave me a book. and my desk partner is MIA. like everyone in my life these days seems to be.
"Uh, Mr. Long." I stare at him finally making eye contact gesturing to the empty table with no text books.
"Right, sorry." He says quickly changing his target. I can't wait for science. Three reasons:
1) It's lab day, I think. All I'll have to do is take notes and draw pictures.
2) I'd see Lorrie for the first time today.
3) It's the last class of the day and I can finally get out of here.
Now that tracks over I'll focus more on my art and sketches.
