Lorrie -
"Lorrie, its fine. What happened." Connor asks his voice full of concern.
"Dancing last night." I tell him, "Apparently it's just about as dangerous as football." I joke pulling out the notes, instructions, and materials for the lab.
We all work quietly and I occasionally give them all instructions or explains something to them that didn't make sense. Rose and Patrick compete the lab. Connor the illustrations for our write up, then I'll write it up. Johnny keeps watching me, it's quiet unnerving, why won't he just stop? I'd get finished quicker if he would. He walks over to me and asks if I'm almost done, because apparently, he still needs help with his homework. Again. He always needs help with something. He struts back over to his jock buddies and continues fooling around.
It's a wonder they're still in school. Oh wait, they're only in school because the sports bring in money for the school. It doesn't matter how they treat the other students or what they do. If they were regular students they wouldn't have such immunity to expulsion or suspension.
