"Care baby it's okay." My husband pulled me into his arms softly rubbing my back as he hugged me tightly.

"I'm alright. I think I am gonna go for a drive." I sighed before he wiped my face with his thumbs.

"Baby I love you... When we get back I want to talk alright?" Mike said softly kissing my forehead.

"I love you too, Mike." I answered before standing on my toes kissing his lips gently. I walked down the stairs and out of the front door down to my car.

Mike's POV
I don't think I have ever been more stressed about anything in my life. Carrie won't answer my calls, she won't text me back, I've texted Ivey and she hasn't talked to Carrie. It has been an hour now where is she?

"Hello?" I answered my phone immediately hearing rucus in the background.

"Yes is this Mr. Fisher?"

"Um. Yes sir it is." I answered standing from the chair in the living room getting my jacket off of the rack.

"Sir I am sorry to inform you that your wife has been in a life threatening car accident. We need you to be at Nashville Regional as soon as-" I hung up my phone quickly rushing out of the house not caring enough to lock the front door behind me before I ran towards my truck.

"Life threatening?" What could that mean? Is she paralyzed? Does she have brain damage? How could this happen? How could God allow this to happen? How could he make this happen? I don't understand.

"I am Mike Fisher, my wife Carrie Underwood- Fisher was in a wreak." I said quickly tapping my fingers on the administration desk anxious to hear the condition that my wife was in.

"Yes she was in a head on collision. They already have taken her in for a CT scan she should be out and in a room soon." The woman politely said causing me to sigh turning away running my fingers through my hair in frustration.

I began calling people. Left and right. First Carrie's parents then mine. Soon Mark and Ivey, Brad, Miranda, Blake, everyone. I can't believe this is happening.

"Fisher, Mike." A doctor walked out from one of the hallways and into the waiting room where me and several others were waiting impatiently.

"Yes? My wife?" I quickly stood up walking over to him.

"She has brain damage, no doubt. Not too severe though which is good. Carrie does now suffer from Retrograde amnesia due to those brain injuries." My heart seemed to stop in that moment. Amnesia? What all will she forget or not remember? Me?

"How... How much isn't she going to remember?" I stuttered nervosuly.

"We're not exactly sure right now although one to two years maybe three." He answered. We've only been married for two years. She can't forget about me. I am her husband. "Now there was minor damage to Carrie's abdomen-"

"The baby... Oh no." Tears forming in my eyes now.

"Sir. I am deeply sorry. We tried our best."
