*First day back from Winter break*
Violet POV
"Cassidy!! Time to get up!!! Get your brother and sister up now!!!" Mom's calling, it's time to get up. She usually just calls Cassidy, because she's apparently the most responsible out of the three of us.
"Ok!" Cassidy yells back. She is getting off of her bed so that she can make it.
I don't really understand why she decides to make her bed, but she is kind of a neat freak.
Once she's done making her bed, she comes over to my bed. I quickly close my eyes and pretend like I'm sleeping.
After Cassidy shakes me a few times, I open my eyes and start to sit up. "Good morning!" Cassidy says getting off of her bed, and opening the curtain to Chance's room.
"Time to get up!" I hear her yell from Chance's room. Chance is the hardest to wake up. He always says that he's up, but really he's not!
Since Cassidy is in the other room, I grab my clothes for the day, and run downstairs to the bathroom, so that when I change, I can get some privacy.
I change into a cute little flowery sundress, with a small brown-ish belt around my waste.
I walk out of the bathroom to brush my hair. I don't really feel like putting it up, so I'll just straighten it and try to keep it out of my face.
"Morning Vi." Mom says walking into the kitchen.
"Could I have an espresso?" I ask politely, hoping that if I do ask politely then she will be more willing to say yes.
"Sure, you can also make some eggs and toast too. Is Chance up yet? We have to go now." My politeness worked! But now I have to make eggs and toast!
"Thank you! And, I think Cassidy is getting him up right now." I reply walking over to the espresso maker.
Mom stomps up the stairs and starts yelling at Chance, so that he will get up.
Cassidy comes running down the stairs. "I did not want to get trapped in that argument!" She says making her way into the kitchen. I don't blame her though because they are not very happy people when they argue.
"Can you please make me an espresso!" Cassidy asks opening the bathroom door. She is probably gonna change because she has some folded clothes in her hands.
"No!" I shout as she closes the bathroom door.
"Thanks!" She shouts back pretending that I said yes.
I grab the milk, and I put it into the frother. I then grab a coffee cup and put a few spoonfuls of sugar in my cup, then I fill the cup a quarter full of coffee. When the milk is warm and frothed, I pour the milk into my coffee cup. It almost overflows, but not quite. Once that's done, I grab the spoon and put like five scoops of sugar in it. I LOVE it when my espresso is super sugary.
Mom and Chance are stomping down the stairs. "Let's go!" Mom says angrily to Chance. He looks like a mess! His hair is all over the place, and he is wearing baggy sweatpants, and a baggy gray t-shirt, with some stains on it. He looks like a homeless person, but then again, he dresses like that every day! Ugh!
"Get in the car, I'll be right there." Mom shouts to Chance as she walks into the kitchen, grabbing her keys off of the counter. Chance is twenty one! And he still doesn't know how to drive!! When he turned sixteen, he didn't even want to drive!
My mom drives Chance to work every day! I imagine that that is very boring! When the front door slams shut, I know that mom and Chance are gone.
"What time is it!?" Cassidy yells from the bathroom.
"It's almost 6:30am, why?" I ask, probably knowing the answer....... I'm guessing that she wants to take a shower.......
"I was just thinking of taking a shower, I think I will, can you time me!?" She asks again.
"Sure, tell me when to star-"
"Now! Just tell me when it's 6:45am!" I start the timers and go back to my delicious espresso.
