Chapter 23

When Cassidy comes out of the bathroom, she has a towel on her head and an anxious look on her face......

"How long did I take?" She asks looking over to the clock on the stove.

I check my phone, which has the timer. I stop it, and it reads seven minutes, thirty three seconds.

"Seven minutes and thirty three seconds." I tell her.

"Ok, well, I am gonna go pack my bag, and then we can go!" She says running up the stairs.

I already finished my breakfast, so I decide to grab a banana, to satisfy the rest of my hunger.

As I peel the banana, Cassidy comes down the stairs and grabs the banana out of my hands. "Hey!" I shout angrily. She's running toward the car, so I follow. We are leaving earlier then usual, I wonder why?

"You hav- to shit in de bak!" Cassidy says with her mouth full. The banana is in her mouth, and one of her hands are turning the car on, the other is gripping on the steering wheel.

"Why!?" I ask, opening the passenger seat door.

"I have to pick Adrian and Chaz up."

"But WWWHHHYYY!?" I ask again slightly annoyed. Why can't they sit in the back?

"Well, because Chaz's sister took his car for the day, and Adrian just needs a ride." She explains turning the radio on, probably saying that this is the end of the discussion.

I hop in the passenger seat in the front, and Cassidy just glares at me. "Get your ass in the back!" She says quite seriously. Since she isn't happy, I decide to go to the back seat, because I don't want the person driving me angry at me.

We go to Adrian's house first. He is waiting outside. When he sees us pull up, he walks over to us, and opens the passenger door....... So HE gets to sit in the front!

"Hey Violet!" Adrian says when he turns his head to me.

"Hi." I say shyly. If Cassidy wasn't supposedly dating him, then I would totally kiss him right now! He's so hot!

"So, we are gonna pick Chaz up, right?" He asks with a smile.

"Yep! Did he text you his address by any chance?" Cassidy asks starting the car.

"Yeah, here..... I can type it in on your GPS if you need me to." He asks grabbing the GPS.

It takes like fifteen minutes to find Chaz's house! I've never met him before, but when he got in the car, I could tell right away that he was gay! He had a SUPER high voice, and he was wearing a pink polo shirt with blue skinny jeans. He also talked using lots of hand motions!

The car ride was filled with questions about their homework. I had no idea what they where talking about. So I just sat there and stayed quiet.

When we finally arrive, I grab my bag and run to school. My sister was a total nerd, and so were her friends.

"Hey! We are gonna be late! We have to hurry to class!! We have been waiting for you for at least fifteen minutes!!" Stacia grabs my arm, and drags me down the hall to my locker. I take my binders out and shove my backpack in my locker.

We make it to class on time, just a few seconds before the bell rings......

*Lunch time*

"Oh my fucking God!! I totally failed my geometry test!" For third period, Stacia and I have geometry, and we had a test today! I totally forgot to study last night!

"It was probably the hardest test that I've ever taken!" I say agreeing with Stacia.

"Shut up!! I have to take it fifth period! But I actually have hope that I will ace it!" Scarlet says as she unwraps her chicken sandwich.

"I honestly think that I got at least a passing grade!" Brandon says with a small smile on his face. He usually has low standards, so I can see why he's so excited about a C.

"Hey guys! What are you guys talking about!?" Mason asks, taking the seat next to me. He just got a school lunch. It actually looks tastier than my lunch!

"Stupid Geometry!" Brianna replies with her mouth full.

"What's wrong with geometry?" Mason asks confused.

Chloe and Austin get to the table shortly afterward, guess they had to get a school lunch too! "I totally flunked the test!" Stacia repeats. Then, Mason's face goes from his usual one-dimpled smile, to a surprised/frustrated looking face.

"Damn it! I didn't know that we had a test today! I didn't even study!" That's why he wasn't smiling any more!

"It's ok! I think that we all failed it!" Chloe says trying to join in on the conversation.

"Well, we won't know until tomorrow." Austin adds, also trying to join in.

"Anyways, so what do you guys have planned for the weekend?" I ask.

Everyone just shrugs. Then, Stacia's face lights up...... "Oh my gosh!! We should go ice-skating!!!"

"Yeah! It would be so much fun! The only problem is....... I don't know how to ice-skate!" Scarlet says excitedly, but with a slightly sad expression on her face.

"Me neither!" Mason, Austin, Brandon, Zoe and Chloe all agree. Guess Stacia, Brianna, Leo and I are the only ones that know how.

"Well, then we will just have to teach you then! It's a lot like roller skating!" Leo explains.

"For my sister's twelfth birthday party, we went ice-skating! It was so much fun! One of her friends tried to do a titanic thing with her, but they ended up falling on their butts!! It was hilarious!!" I say remembering one of my favorite parties that I went to.

Everyone starts to crack up, including me! "Well, sounds like a plan! I'll make sure to text you the deets!!" Stacia shouts, as she gets up to go to her locker. It's already time for fifth period!!! Ugh!! Wish me luck!
