After about fifteen minutes of going in random directions, we finally get to Mason's house.

"Bye guys! See you tomorrow!" I exclaim walking up to the door.

"Bye Violet! Don't have too much fun!" Stacia calls running away. I can just hear the perverted smirk on her face.

*Knock knock knock*

I knock on the door waiting for it to open.

I hear footsteps hurrying down the hall. Then I hear a series of clicks (probably the locks on the doors).

"Hi!" A little girl opens the door, she looks like she's about five years old. She has two small pigtails, and a cute little flower beret in her hair.

"Mason! There's a pretty girl here!" She shouts turning around.

"What did I tell you about answering the door to strang-" Mason walks up to the door and then stares at me for a few split seconds, he looks me up and down, then he acknowledges me to come in.

"This is Dalia, my five year old  little sister. It's just me and her tonight. My mom's working the late shift, so I have to take care of this little rascal!" Mason explains gently ruffling Dalia's hair.

"Who's this lovely lady!?" Someone asks from behind me.

"She's WAY out of your league!" Mason says to the kid behind me.

"That's Jai, my fourteen year old brother. Forgot to mention him." Mason explains rolling his eyes at Jai.

"Um, Jai, could you please watch Dalia for me? Violet and I need to go study." He asks as politely as he can.

"Oh, yeah of course! Because that's all you're going to be doing, "studying" everyone knows that you guys are gonna end up making out!" Jai shouts angrily.

He's only a year younger than we are, so it kinda makes sense that he thinks that's what we are going to do........ But we're not!

I kinda have relationship problems. I usually can't stay with one guy at a time. So I wouldn't want us dating, then me breaking up with him to ruin our friendship!

"Thanks! If you need us, we will be upstairs!" Mason exclaims, ignoring Jai.

We walk through the kitchen, and over to a spiral staircase.

DANG! This house is pretty fancy! The floor is made out of marble. The kitchen is probably five times the size of my own bedroom. He has a lot of special cooking utensils. I just so happen to love cooking!

He leads me up the stairs, and to the left. Where we are met with this GIANT oak door.

"This is my room." He says, opening the giant oak door.

His room is AMAZING. It's like a teen paradise!

He has his own sixty inch flat screen tv plastered on the wall across from his water-bed.

He has at least five laptops stacked on a desk. And there is a beautiful window seat that's stares out at Palts Lake!

He's obviously a nerdy hunk. He has posters hanging on his wall. Some of the posters are football, basketball, and baseball related. And the other posters have the periodic table of elements or even famous quotes by Ghandi or Mya Angelou.

I look over to another wall, and I see another flat screen tv on the wall, it's not quite as big as the other one, but it's pretty close!

In front of that TV are bean bag chairs with Xbox and Wii remotes stacked on top of each other.

This room is amazing!

As if he read my mind....... "I know! I have been saving up lots of money every year to add on to my collection of amazingness!" Mason exclaims.

"Wow!" I shout out in awe.

"Yeah....... So, let's get to studying!" He says switching gears.

"Ok" I reply.

We walk over to an oak desk by the window. And Mason pulls out the chair so I can sit in it.

When I sit down, Mason pulls up another chair, and takes a seat.

He places his Geometry textbook on the desk and flips to a page.
----------------------------------------------------
"So the Pythagorean Theorem is a relation Euclidean geometry among the three sides of a right triangle. It states that the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides right?" I ask Mason. We are obviously reviewing the Pythagorean theorem. He hasn't memorized it yet.

"Uh..... Yeah...." He replies, obviously not getting it.

"So you're good?" I ask seeing if he wants me to re-explain it.

"Could we maybe....... Take a break?" He asks closing his textbook.

"Umm..... Sure." I say putting my papers away. I honestly really want to finish our homework but it can wait...... I guess.

He gets up, and walks over to his bed. He grabs a remote off of his bed, and turns the tv on. "You can watch something if you want, I'm gonna go get some snacks." With that, he walks out of the room.

I get up, and walk over to the bed. I grab the remote, and switch channels. First it was on The Silver Linings Playbook. And we are not watching that, I HATED that movie!

I changed it to Divergent. Only the BEST movie ever! I take the remote, and walk over to the bean bag chairs, and pull one over to the TV. I'm not gonna sit on the bed.

After about five minutes, Mason comes back in. He brought popcorn, and Oreos!

"So Violet, what are we watching?" He asks bringing the food over to me. Then, he brings the other bean bag next to me.

"Divergent!" I exclaim.

"I LOVE that movie!!"

He sits down and grabs the bowl of popcorn. He hands me the Oreos, which was probably a big mistake because I will eat all of these!
----------------------------------------------------
Half way through the movie, I start thinking of all the work that we left undone! "Hey um..... Mason,"

"Yeah?" He asks turning his attention to me.

"Shouldn't we get back to studying?" I ask with a little more nerve in my voice than I wanted.

"Well, the movies' almost over right?" Mason says as he inches closer.

"Yeah...... But, I've already seen this movie....... And it would probably be better if we finished our homework." I explain becoming more cautious.

"Just relax, don't worry, we'll get it done." He replies calmly. He starts inching closer again.

"But-" I try to argue, but he just grabs the back of my head, and brings his lips up to my forehead.

"The homework will be finished by tomorrow." Then he moves his lips to my nose.

My stomach is leaping. I honestly don't want this to happen, and yet he is VERY attractive, and he kisses me differently than my past boyfriends.

I try to pull back, but he brings my head forward, and tilts his own head.

"Are you okay?" He asks apprehensively.

"Uh....... I probably should-"

He stops me from talking when he puts his mouth to my ear.

"I.... I can't...... I have to go." I exclaim snapping back to reality. I don't want to hurt his feelings, so I better go before anything happens.

"Wait....." He grabs my hand as I stand up. I look down at him, and I can see that he is sorry......... Can't take any chances.

I grab my books and throw them into my bag. "Bye, see you tomorrow." I say exiting the room, trying to sound like nothing happened.

I run down the stairs, and I see Dalia and Jai. "Bye guys!" I try to say casually, but it sounded very breathy.

I walk out the door, and shut it tight.
