Cassidy POV
"Eeeekk!" Dai squeals.
"Jeez! What's all that about!?" I ask sitting down next to Caden. The guys are sitting at another table.
Ever since this girl named Natalie and her boyfriend Jack were caught making out on a lunch table, the principal made a rule that girls had to sit at opposite tables than guys. It doesn't seem fair. But I guess that's just how it is! I just don't want to get suspended.
"Baden and I are going out to dinner tonight!" Dai screams.
"Cool." I reply calmly.
"Really? That's all you have to say about it?" Dai asks with slight anger in her voice.
"Yeah, what do you want me to say?" I ask confused. Who cares what my reaction was?
"Oh, I don't know, maybe something like 'congrats!' Or 'you guys are a GREAT couple!' Or even 'when are you gonna get married?'"
"Woah! That's a little too much!" I exclaim.
"Congrats!" Naima shouts semi-sarcastically.
"Ugh! Whatever!"

Fourth periodBiology! Finally! My favorite period of the day!
"So what really is biology class?" Mrs. Burthenson asks in an inspirational tone.
Half of the class raises their hands. When Mrs. Burthenson calls on the smart alec (Railes Harrin), something brushes against my hand.
It frightens me a bit. I turn my attention to what brushed against my hand.
I look down and see another hand holding a piece of paper. That hand is just barely touching mine.
I follow the hand, up the arm, and see Adrian.
We haven't really been able to talk to each other lately because of Natalie and Jack's PDA event. Even in the hallways, we aren't really allowed to talk to the students of opposite genders.
I look down at his hand. He brings his hand closer to mine, and he grabs my hand. Then he bumps my hand a little, and acknowledges me to take the piece of paper.
I take the small piece of paper from his hand, it takes me a few seconds to look away from Adrian's sparkly diamond blue eyes.
Adrian is the one who breaks my gaze. He closes his eyes for a few seconds and smirks.
When I realize that he noticed me staring, I turn away and blush.
When I get back to reality, I open my hand and unfold the small piece of paper.
It says:
Right after school, could you walk to the park with me? Just to do homework, and maybe just to get our "kid on"! ;P
Love,
Adrian •~•
