Chapter 26

Violet POV

It's finally Saturday! I thought this day would never come! I am SUPER excited to go ice-skating!

"Where am I taking you today?" Cassidy asks grabbing her keys.

"Sprinker recreation center!" I exclaim jumping into the car.

"What are you gonna be doing there?" Now Cassidy decides to interrogate me! Ugh!!

"Ice-skating, why?" I ask starting the car for Cassidy. I like to put the keys in the ignition! I've always done that to my mom, since I was like seven!

"Who are you going with!?" She asks impatiently, pulling out of the drive-way.

"Friends....... Why are you interrogating me!?" I shout even more impatient than Cassidy.

"Never mind!" She mutters and just stares at the road.

We finally arrive at Sprinker Recreation center. "Pick me up at six?" I ask opening the car door.

"Sure, if you need me before then, just text or call me." She shouts backing out of the drop-off zone.

"Bye!!" I wave walking through the doors to the rec. center.

"Hey!!!" Brianna calls out, running over to me.

"Hey......... Can't..... Breath..." I exclaim as Brianna gives me a bone-crushing hug.

"Sorry! I was just........ A little excited!" She replies embarrassed. Then she releases me, and we walk over to the rest of the group.

"Took you long enough!" Mason jokes gently punching my arm.

"Well, let's get our ice-skating on!" Stacia shouts running up to the counter. We all go up to the counter and get our ice-skates.

We take our skates off of the counter, walk over to a table to sit down, and put our skates on.

I'm the first one to step on the ice. I almost fall on my face, but then I grab onto the side railing, which saves me.

However, the others were not very successful by staying on their feet.

Everyone except for me Brianna and Stacia fell on their butts or their faces.

"Thanks for not helping me up!" Mason says angrily, yet sarcastically.

"No problem!" Stacia replies cockily stepping in front of him, not offering a hand.

Mason keeps stumbling, and after everyone else skates past him, I decide to be the nice one, and help him up.

"Thanks!" Mason says with a smile, as he grabs my hand.

"Let's catch up with the others!" I exclaim pulling him along with me.

We reach Brianna and Stacia. We already passed everyone else, I was trying to race them, but I forgot that I was dragging Mason along with me.

"Aaahhhhh!!!" I shout, when I feel a sudden force pulling me to the ground.

"Ouch!!" The thing that softens my fall yells.

Turns out that I fell on Mason. "Sorry!" I shout trying to push myself off of Mason.

When I get to my feet, I grab Mason's hand........ Again. And pull him up off of the floor. I decide to leave him behind, since Scarlet, Brandon, Austin, and Zoe are being taught by Leo and Stacia, and they just caught up to us.

I eventually catch up to Brianna, who is showing off.
