Chapter 25

Lunch time

"Hey guys!" I exclaim walking towards our table in the cafeteria.

"Hey!" Baden, Dai, Naima, and Adrian are already sitting at the table.

I take a seat, and I decide to engage in conversation. "So, what did you guys get for your mile?"

"Six-forty-seven!" Naima says with a cocky smirk on her face, I can tell that she's proud of it!

"Oh yeah...... I got six-o-two!!" I brag with a bigger smile on my face.

Then Levi, Genevieve, Chaz, Caden come walking over to the table........ Took them long enough.

"Hey! What's up!?" Levi says.

"What do you think? We're eating!" I say opening my mouth, so that he can see my ABC food.

"Oh my gosh!!! I just saw a poster in my history class!!! And I got the greatest idea!" Caden practically yells, which makes half of the cafeteria turn towards us.

"Well, if you keep yelling, then it's probably gonna be everybody else's greatest idea too!" Chaz says gesturing to everyone looking at us.

Caden blushes, and then her smile returns when everyone turns back to their own food.

"I have the BEST idea for Spring Break! So do any of you have plans?" Caden says just a little quieter then last time.

Everyone shakes their heads.
"Nope! Why?" Adrian asks, speaking for all of us.

"We....... Should go to....... Drum roll please!?" Caden says looking at us like we are actually supposed to do a drum-roll.

"Drum-rolls are for babies!" Baden exclaims matter-of-factly.

"Only babies would say that!" Dai replies cockily.

"Oooooo! Burn!! You just got insulted by your own girlfriend!" Levi exclaims putting his hand over his mouth like he's surprised.

"Anyways....... What were you saying Caden?" I ask rolling my eyes, trying to go back to the subject.

"We are going to Brazil!!" Caden shouts jumping up and down in her seat.

"Really!?" I ask. I've always wanted to go to Brazil, mainly for the Amazon Rainforest.

"That's a great idea!! There will be something there for ALL of us! Even us guys!" Baden exclaims with a huge grin on his face.

"Yeah! We can go to the beach! Most women don't wear shirts!! It's gonna be amazing!!! If you girls wanna fit in, then you will have to keep your shirts off, and tan your breastes!!" Levi shouts with the biggest smirk on his face. His shouting earns him a few grossed out glances from kids all over the cafeteria.

"Not exactly what I was gonna say, but yeah, that too!" Baden exclaims slightly embarrassed for Levi.

"Well...... Sounds like a REALLY fun trip! Whose in!?" I ask. Everyone nods their heads, and that ends that conversation.

*BBBRRRIIINNNGGG*

Finally!! I think this was the longest Friday of my life! Ugh!

I grab stack my all my stuff on top of my binder, and head for the door.

"Hey sexy!" Ugh! It's Ryan, the hottest jerk in the school! He's actually a new kid at the school, he started a few weeks ago. Sadly, the jocks took him under their wing, so now he's a hot cocky prick.

"What do you want?" I ask rudely like I'm already bored.

"You doin anything this weekend Cassy?" He asks biting his lip. I have to admit it, he is SUPER hot, but he's a total player, so there's no way that I'm spending time with him!

"Yeah. I'm busy! Can I go now?" I say trying to walk past him.

When I start walking, he just walks next to me. He's only in my last period class, so I usually don't see him during the day.

It's amazing how much he looks like Zac Efron! "So....... Where ya headed?" He asks catching up to me.

"Ummm.... My locker?" I say starting to walk down the stairs.

When I get to my locker I see that none of my friends are there. I'm actually really nervous now, because Ryan usually leaves when he sees my friends. But now, he's gonna stick around as long as he can!

I unlock my locker and take my bag out, and place my textbooks in my locker. I'm trying to pretend that Ryan isn't here.

Ignoring him didn't help, it actually made it worse. "Well then, what are you doing now?" He asks placing his arm on the locker next to mine so that I can't quite get passed him. He takes a few steps closer. He eventually gets WAY too close, I honestly want to kiss him, but I just can't, he's already had like six girlfriends, only in three weeks!

"I have a boyfriend!" I shout, which makes him jump back in surprise.

Adrian FINALLY comes to my rescue. "Hey Cass!" He says walking closer, then when he sees Ryan, he glares at him. "Ryan." Adrian acknowledges him with a mean look in his eyes.

When Adrian reaches my locker, Ryan decides to leave.

"Well, it took you long enough!"
