Chapter Six

Elodie's P.O.V

Jess was coming round in 1 hour and me and the boys had decided to suprise her with their presence.

It was 7pm and she was coming round in 30 minutes, so I went upstairs to get ready. I straightened my hair and put on some skinny jeans and a t-shirt. I applied some mascara and made my way to the living room. I sat down next to Jai and watched Skip and Luke play eachother on COD. I have to admit they were good, but I could probably beat them. When they had finished, Skip looked at my previous scores and his mouth dropped open.

"WOAH! You're amazing at COD!" he said, his mouth still hanging open.

"Close you mouth you'll catch flies and thanks," I giggled, pushing his mouth closed with my fingers.

Luke handed me his controller and I played team deathmatch. The boys watched my get kill after kill and applauded me when the match finished.

"How did you become so good?" Jai asked in shock.

"My friend Lewis taught me and gave me tips on how to kill people faster."

"Woah, you need to introduce us to him and he can teach James cause he's crap," Skip said, pointing at James.

James stuck his middle finger up a him and told him to f off. We were all laughing when the door bell rang. The boys stayed where they were, playing on the PS3, while I got up and went to the door.

I opened it and had a girl throw herself into my arms. "Heeeeyyyyy, what's crackalackin biatch?" she said, pulling away from the hug.

"Nothing much, but I invited some people over and they're in the living room. You haven't met them in person, but you know who they are, is that okay?" I asked.

"Of course! Are they boys?"

"Yes," I replied sighing.

"Cool! What if they don't like me?" she asked, getting nervous.

"They'll love you and I know you'll love them!" I said.

I opened the door and all the boys had their backs to us, so she didn't know who they were.

"Jess, meet the boys," I exclaimed and they all turned around at the same time.

Jess's face was priceless and all the boys ran up to her and gave her a hug. She screamed and looked like she was gonna cry. I laughed at her expression and she gave me a 'how do you know them' look.

"Jai, Luke, Beau, James and Skip, meet Jess and Jess, I think you know them all already," I giggled.

After Jess had calmed down and we had all settled down and eaten, we made our way to the theatre room and sat around the T.V. "Wanna have a movie night?" I asked them all.

They all nodded. "Jess, you know where the DVD's are and I'll go upstair and get some snacks."

I stood up as Jess went to the DVD draw. I went to the kitchen and put some popcorn in the microwave and grabbed some sweets and coke cans while I waited. I turned around and came face to face with Beau, well he was taller than me so more like face to neck.

"I thought you would need help," he said, smiling.

"Thank you," I replied, smiling back. He was so good looking, OMG!

We stood there, him looking down at me and me staring and getting lost in his gorgeous eyes.

He looked at my lips and I looked at his, they looked so good right now. He leaned towards me and I was beginning to move fowards, when the microwave DINGED! I jumped away from Beau and opened the microwave, pouring the popcorn into three bowels. I handed Beau two bowls and I took one bowl and the sweets and coke. We walked in silence towards the theatre room, the only thing I could hear was my pounding heart and our footsteps.

We arrived in the room and handed everyone a drink and some food. I looked for any spare seats and the only place available was the sofa that Beau had sat on. Great.

I sat down and look at Jess who was snuggling next to Skip. She looked at me and winked, woah she's a fast mover. "What film we watching?" I asked them all,

"Paranormal Activity!" said Jai, shoving popcorn in his mouth. Oh no, I hate scary films and normal me and Jess hide behind each other, but nooo she was on the other sofa with Skip.

When the film started getting scary, I hid my face in my hands and it was so scary! I felt the sofa move and glanced at Beau who had moved closer to me. He wrapped his arms over my shoulders and I placed my face in his chest. When something scary happened I would jump and put my face on Beau and he would just pull me closer and chuckle.

Normally in a situation like this, I would be awkwsrd, but with Beau, I felt like I could be myself. I began to feel my eyes begin to get heavy, but I fought to keep my eyes open.

"Go to sleep if you want," Beau whispered into my hair.

"Thank you," I mumbled into his shoulder and let my mind go blank.

Beau's P.O.V

I nearly kissed her again, but the microwave ruined the moment. Of course!

I really wanted to kiss her, but something always happened!

We went downstairs in silence and I dropped the food on the floor and took a seat on the sofa. I looked at Skip and he was cuddling .... Jess, I think her name is? Get in there Skip!

I watched the adverts before the movie and felt the sofa dip down on my left. I looked over and Elodie had taken a seat. "What movie is it?" she asked.

"Paranormal Activity!" Jai said, she smiled, but I could tell she was worried. Bless her.

When the scary bits began, I saw Elodie hide and try and stop herself looking at the screen. I moved over to where she sat and she glanced at me, smiling. I smiled back and hung my arm over her shoulders.

She would jump at the scary bits and snuggle into my shoulder. I felt her relax and I looked down to see her eye lids beginning to fall, but she was trying to force them open.

"Go to sleep if you want," I whispered into her hair that smelt of apples.

"Thank you," she mumbled in her tired voice and God it was cute!

I felt her breathing deepen as she fell asleep on my shoulder and it felt right, like my shoulder was meant to be there for her cheek.

Before I knew it, I was drifting off to sleep and my cheek fell onto Elodie's hair.

Skip's P.O.V

Jess was absolutely beautiful and she LOVED football. LIKE ME!

I don't even know her, but I know she's the one! She snuggled with me during Paranormal Activity and we fit like two pieces of a puzzle. Why does she have to live so far away?
