Chapter Twelve

Elodie's P.O.V

I opened the door to find Beau standing there in a tux with a rose in his hands. I blushed and he handed me the flower. I quickly ran inside and put it in a vase and ran back to Beau. He held his hand out and I took it.

We walked down the driveway and into a taxi. We sat down and the car started moving. I looked at Beau and just got lost in his eyes. He was so kind and lovely and he looked sooo good in a tux. His eyes looked over what I was wearing and I felt my cheeks burn.

"You look so beautiful!" he whispered.

"You look quite wow yourself too," I murmured back.

He grabbed a scarf and wrapped it round my eyes. "Oh no, why?" I asked.

"Because it's a surprise!" he exclaimed and the car stopped moving.

I heard him get out of the car and my car door opened and a cool breeze hit me. Beau grabbed my hand and led me over a path. I could see the sunshine coming through the blindfold and I breathed in the smell of the.... sea?

Beau kneeled down and took my heels off my feet. My feet landed on the ground to get sand inbetween my toes. I buried my feet into the sand and I stood there just relaxing. A hand pulled me away and I walked across the sand. The fragrance of the sea filled my nose and I breathed in heavily.

Suddenly my feet came out from underneath me and Beau was carrying me. "But I'm heavy!" I whined.

"Really? You're like a feather!" he argued.

 I sighed and let him carry on holding me. He slowly placed me down and my feet touched rock.

My blindfold slowly came off and my eyes adjusted to the light. I was in a cave that still had a view of the sea and the setting sun. The cave was full of candles that made shadows dance across the walls. I gasped and turned to Beau who was smiling at me.

My eyes were swimming and I hugged him. "This is the most beautiful thing anyone has ever done for me."

I hugged him and he led me to towards a blanket that was laying on the floor.

I sat down and Beau joined me. He passed me a plate which had the most gorgeous looking food on it and I dug in.

After we had eaten, we sat on the blanket and watched the sun set. The sky was full of pastel pinks, purples and oranges and the sun glowed a smooth light over the sea, making it look a beautiful turquoise colour.

Beau placed his arm over my shoulder and I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Thank you for tonight Beau, it was so special," I murmured, looking at the sun slowly sinking into the sea.

"It was my pleasure . I really like you Elodie."

My heart started pounding and I was worried Beau could hear it.

"I like you too Beau," I began. "I'm just worried about when you have to leave back to Australia."

"It'll work, there's something about you that I love and I know we're meant to be, just give it a chance," he whispered.

I felt butterflies in my stomach and I raised my head to look at him.

"But if you don't want to-" he began but I interrupted him by shoving my lips onto his and feeling the electricity.

I pulled away and looked into his green orbs which were glinting. I bit my lip and he started speaking again. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

I kissed him again and when we pulled away you stared at me. "Is that a yes?"

"Yes!"

Beau's P.O.V

She looked stunning and I love floral dresses!

In the cave we were looking at the sun setting and her head was on my shoulder, gazing over the sea.

"I really like you, Elodie," I said into her, my heart pounding in my chest. What if she rejects me?

"I like you too Beau," she began. YESSS! But she continued talking. "I'm just worried about when you have to leave back to Australia."

"It'll work, there's something about you that I love and I know we're meant to be, just give it a chance," I whispered, trying to convince her.

She looked up at me and her blue eyes looked amazing in the suns light that was beginning to cool down.

"But if you don't want to-" I began but I was interrupted by her plump lips on mine. The fireworks started and I enjoyed the kiss.

She pulled away I we looked into each others eyes. She bit her lip and she looked so hot!

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Did I really just say that? She'll probably say no! My thoughts were stopped by her lips on mine again. It felt soo right!

"Is that a yes?" I asked.

"Yes!"

I mentally cheered and we lay down looking at the sun hide behind the sea, leaving us in candle light.
