Chapter Fourteen

Elodie's P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock. I groaned and shut it off before it could wake up the whole house.

I had a quick shower and got dressed into some skinny jeans, a t-shirt and flats. I left my hair down because it looked nice and went downstairs to start cooking breakfast.

I got out some croissants and turned the oven on. As they were cooking, I grabbed the air horn and went to the boys room because I promised to wake them up at 9. I opened the door slightly and out my arm through the door and pushed the nozzle. Sound erupted into the room and Jai, Luke and James groaned.

I went to Beau's room next, but as I was about to go into the room, the door swung open and a tired looking Beau opened the door and took the air horn.

I laughed and told them to get ready for the meet and greet before going back downstairs and getting the food out the oven.

I set them on a plate and put it on the table.

Beau was the first one to come downstairs and he was dressed in salmon pink shorts and a white tee shirt. He came over to me and kissed me before grabbing a croissant and sitting down.

Once we were all in the car and we had picked up Jess, we were on our way to Hyde Park. Jai and Luke had fallen asleep on each other and Skip and Jess were on their phones and stealing secret glances at each other.

I knew something was going on, but I'd ask her later.

"You excited then?" I asked Beau.

"Yess! I can't wait to see our fans, but I'm just worried that there'll be haters and not many fans come to see us," he replied, looking out the window.

"Have you seen how many fans you have in just the area I live?" I said, glancing at Beau.

"Yes, but not many might turn up!"

"Don't worry, I know people will come to see you cause you guys are soo funny and caring," I reassured him.

"Thank you," he said, smiling at me.

"Can you drive by the way?" I asked him.

"Yeah," he replied, smiling devilishly at me.

I smacked his arm lightly and faked being annoyed at him, "I've been driving you around for a week and you have your drivers license?"

"I'm just lazy," he shrugged and chuckled.

I giggled and continued to drive.

I woke up the boys and they got out the car. They had wanted to come 1 hour earlier and see Alfie, Marcus and Maaz.

We walked up to the venue and booths had been set up for people to line up and get pictures and autographs with each person. A booth for the Janoskians had been put up and the boys put their stuff in it.

We walked around and Alfie was standing by himself, so the boys went to introduce themselves while me and Jess tagged behind.

We got talking and Alfie introduced us to other youtubers, including Marcus.

Soon, fans started to arrive and we followed Jai, Luke, James, Beau and Skip to their booth. Jess and I took our seats next to the booth so we could watch the booth and not look like weirdoes.

- 3 hours later

After all the fans had left, Jess and I stood up and walked around. We spotted Marcus and Alfie just talking and we had a quick conversation. We exchanged numbers and we agreed to meet up later.

We made our way to the car and honked the horn so the boys would hurry up.

They ran and got in. They were soo excited at the amount of people they had met and the number of fans they had in a country 24 hours away.

24 hours away. That's how far away Beau will be in 2 months.

I looked at him and he was already looking at me. I smiled and carried on driving in silence.

When we got home, me and Beau decided to go watch a film. I grabbed some money and left everyone playing C.O.D.

He took my hand and dragged me out the door and into the warm sunshine. I felt the rays soak into my skin and I enjoyed the heat while it lasted. We walked through the streets hand in hand, just talking.

We decided to watch Finding Nemo 3D (Beau's choice, not mine) and we sat at the back. The film was good, but Beau kept on looking at me and he placed his arm round my shoulders. I relaxed and kissed him before watching the bit with the sharks.

When the film had finished, we went to get some ice cream. I ordered vanilla and caramel and Beau ordered chocolate and strawberry. We stayed in the shop to eat it and while I was looking out the window when something freezing touched my face.

I shrieked and saw Beau had spread some of his ice cream on my face. I laughed and took the rest of my ice cream and pushed it into his face.

He yelled and I took the opportunity to run. I ran as fast as I could and I could hear advancing footsteps.

I got to the park and I was tackled. We rolled to the ground and lay next to each other, our faces inches apart. He leaned in and pecked my lips. He licked my bottom lip and asked for entry which I accepted.

We then looked up at the sky and named shapes that the clouds made.

"Elodie?" Beau asked, still looking at the sky.

"Yes?"

"What happened to your Mum?"

I remained silent and just looked at the sky.

"You don't need to tell me," he added, trying to not make me uncomfitable.

"No, no I want to tell you," I began, sitting up and looking at Beau, who sat up too.

"2 years ago, my parents and I were going to dinner. We were walking and me and my Mum had crossed the road. My Dad began crossing but bent over to pick up his wallet which he dropped." I paused remembering the memory and Beau rubbed my back. "He didn't see that car, but my Mum did. She ran and pushed him out the way, so she got hit. Before she died, she said that she loved us and to not blame ourselves."

I looked at Beau and he wiped the tears off my cheeks, I didn't even know I had been crying.

He hugged me and we stood up and went home. With Beau I felt safe and I could trust him with anything.
