Chapter Thirty Six

Elodie's P.O.V

I woke up with Beau no longer next to me. I unlocked my phone and saw Beau had left me a message saying we was at Tyler's. I smiled, hopped out of bed and had a shower. I stood in the heated water until my skin started to go pink, so I got out and dried myslf.

I pulled on some shorts and tucked a t-shirt into them. I walked downstairs and let my damp hair dry naturally. I skipped around Beau's boxes that were still in the hallway and went to the kitchen. A note on the counter caught my eye and I picked it up.

Hey Els,

Just went to Skip's and I should be back tonight and we can catch up!

I smiled and put the note down again. I put some toast in the toaster and felt my phone vibrate.

From Amanda: Yo! Were all coming shopping, be there in 20 xxx

I laughed and replied that I would be ready.

I ran a brush through my hair quickly and ate my toast, before brushing my teeth. As I got downstairs, the doorbell rang and all my new friends were there. Zoe, Amanda and Eve all had their hair down and were wearing shorts, so I grabbed my bag and we got into Amanda's small car.

She turned on the radio and my voice echoed through the car and they all looked at me. Awkward! I turned it onto another radio station and we all belted out the lyrics to one direction.

We parked on the side of the road near Melbourne central and started going to all the shops. First to Urban Outfitters and while the girls were looking at dresses, I stuck to the baggy jumpers. I needed to hide my bump and wearing tight clothes would not help.

I paid with money and the girls said they didn't have enough, so I offered to pay but they said they didn't want to spend it.

I got stopped a few times as we went to anothr shop by fans and I took some pictures, but the girls were fine with it because it happened to the boys too.

I stopped at the cash point to get money and the girls came with. I got some money out and asked for the recipet. I glanced at it and the money had increased. I smiled and was about to throw it in my bag when Eve saw the money on it and gasped.

"I knew you were famous, but I didn't know you were that rich!" she cried and the others looked at the recipt too.

"Now that I think about it, I did like that dress," Zoe joked and we laughed before heading to other shops.

By 4pm we were all hungry, so we went to maccas and I bought a large McChicken sandwich meal with extra large chips and a blue berry muffin. The girls stared at the amount of food and ordered small amounts for themselves.

We all sat down and ate our food, which I finished first, getting weird glances from the others.

"You sure can eat alot!" Eve said and I just shrugged.

"I'm just hungry I guess," I replied and gave them a small smile.

"You must be starving!" Amanda said. "You could probably eat a small country!"

We all laughed and made our way back to the car. On the way, Amanda stopped suddenly and grabbed a magazine off the rack of a news agent. Her eyes scanned the writing before she looked at me in disbelief.

She held up the paper for us all to see and it was a picture of...me?

It was Beau and I leaving the hospital, from the maternity ward. Oh God.
