Elodie's P.O.V
I decided to go back and visit Beau to see if he remembered me, but I was bringing the children too, to maybe jolt something in his mind. I dressed in shorts and a tee, then put the boys in the car.
I drove slowly, trying to think of what would happen. The boys were giggling in the back and I smiled.
I parked gently in the car park and got the boys out, putting one of them in each of my arms and kissing their noses. They smiled and started making gargling noises. I giggled and momentarily forgot about what was happening.
I walked into the white building and went to the lift, pressing the button to go to Beau's room. Gina was standing outside with the boys when I walked up. "Hello Sam!" she cooed, taking Sam and bobbing him in the air. Luke took Alfie and Jai gave me a hug.
"I'm just telling you now that Emily is in there," Jai warned and I nodded, my heart aching.
Gina and Luke gave me the boys again and led me inside the room where I saw Beau and Emily having a heated make out session. I felt the tears well up, but I fought them back. Gina coughed and they both looked up. Emily kissed him once more and stood up, smiling devilishly at me, before leaving the room.
"Not you again," Beau moaned, looking at me.
"Beau, how dare you talk to your girlfriend like that!" Gina snapped at him.
"She isn't my girlfriend! Emily is!" he screamed and I shook my head.
"I am really your girlfriend, but if you don't want me in your life because you forgot me, I'm going to take our sons with me," I said, motioning to the squirming sons in my arms.
Beau's eyes softened and he stared at the boys. "They are beautiful, but they aren't my children, I would never cheat on Emily."
"This is Sam Jai Brooks and this is Alfie Luke Brooks and you are their father, even you can see that, I can see it in your eyes Beau," I stated.
He shook his head angrily. "No."
"Just know that I'll always love you and if you do remember me and the good times we shared with our children, I'll be glad, but I can't be with you ever again, even though I have your baby growing inside me," I murmured, tears beginning to fall. "I'll let you take our house and you can live in it with Jai, Luke and Emily cause I'm moving to get out of your life like you want," I finished, hoisting the boys into a more comfortable position in my arms and spinning around.
"I'm sorry for not remembering, but I hope you have a good life, just don't tell the media they're my children when they're not. I can't look good with any old person on the street," he said, my heart shattering in my chest.
"Oh, I'm not a nobody, I'm the biggest celebrity in the world at the moment," I replied.
"I've never heard of you," he murmured under his breath.
"Because you lost your memory and can't remember a year of your life with me!" I hissed and began to walk out the room. I turned around at the door and looked at Beau, whose eyes were trained on me. "Bye Beau," I whispered, the tears now a waterfall.
"Dadda!" Sam screamed, reaching towards Beau. My eyes widened as I looked down at him and Beau was doing the same.
"That's his first word and probably the last time he's gonna say it because you won't be in his life," I said and walked out on Beau for the last time ever. I walked past Luke and Jai and hugged them. "Tell the others that I love them and I'll miss them, but I can't stay here anymore," I hugged them and cried in their shoulder. "I'll pay for you to visit when I'm ready, but I can't stay here, I love you guys," I cried and ran down the corridor, away from their cries. I pressed the close door button in the lift and it closed in Luke's face.
