Chapter Twenty Three

Jess's P.O.V

I was planning a congratulations party for Elodie releasing her single tomorrow. Beau had taken her shopping so it gave us time to organise everything.

Luke was incharge of food, Jai - music, James-drinks and Skip and I - decorations. James was online ordring alcohol and Luke was going to the shops to get the food and Jai was on his laptop.

Skip and I decided to put up some lamps everywhere and add some streamers. The hallway was done and next was the living room and I think that should be it. I was adding helium to balloons and Skip was tying them.

I loved being with him. He could make my day by just smiling at me and we could talk about football all night.

I realised I was staring at him when he snapped his fingers in my face. I shook my head and smiled at him. He put his hands on my waist and kissed me lightly. I felt the butterflies and dug my fingers into his hair.

"I love you," he mumbled against my lips.

I smiled, "love you too babe!"

I pulled away and carried on blowing up balloons. I had 5 hours left because guests would come over at 8. I invited all of Elodie and I's friends from high school and people we like. Over 50 people should come, but most people were bringing friends, so more were expected.

Elodie's P.O.V

Beau was being so sweet. He was buying me tops I liked and not complaining about having to stand in the same dress aisle while I examined all of them.

I found a beautiful one with lace all over it and roses giving it colour.

I held it up to Beau and he nodded with enthusiasum, so I went to try it on. I walked out of the changing rooms and Beau's eyes widened. "Wow, you look beautiful!" he said, kissing me passionitly. "Wear it out!"

"Okay!" I exclaimed and grabbed my clothes and put them in a bag containing a t-shirt I bought. It was only £20, so I gave the cashier a note and Beau and I went to costa to get a drink. It was 4 o'clock.

Beau grabbed my hand. "Where are we going?" I asked, letting him pull me across the high street.

"Laser Tag!" he screamed and I agreed. I loved laser tag!

I changed into my suit and grabbed my gun and walked into the arena. The lights were dark and I hid behind a wall. I heard people all around us and I held my breath.

I jumped out and shot around 3 people, one of them being Beau.  I laughed and ran away so he couldn't get me. He wrapped his arms around me and shot me with his laser. "REVENGE!"

Jess's P.O.V

I had one hour left until the guests arrived, so I decided to get ready. I straightened my curly hair and applied only masscara. I looked alright so I pulled on a cream dress that hugged my figure well.

"You look beautiful!" I turned around to see Skip leaning against the door frame. I felt my cheeks redden and I gave him a quick hug.

The door bell rang downstairs and I ran downstairs to answer it. Lewis stood there with about 20 of our friends. I ushered them in and told them that we were gonna suprise Elodie and they nodded and went to socialise with the boys.

People all came after that and soon everyone was there. My phone vibrated and it was Beau.

From Beau:

Be there in 1, HIDE!

"Everyone HIDE!! I screamed and people jumped behind chairs and curtains and doors. I flicked the light switch off and hid too.

Elodie's P.O.V

We pulled up to my house and I hopped out the car. Beau grabbed the bags and I slotted the key into the lock and opened the door. It  was really dark?

I walked into the livingroom and switched the light on. "SUPRISE!"

I jumped and saw 50 of my friends and Jess and the boys standing there. "Ahhhh!" I screamed. "But why?"I asked.

"Cause your singles being released and this party is to say congrats!"  Jess replied.

A smile spread across my face and I hugged everyone. Beau came in and smiled too.

I had the best friends EVER! Someone passed me a beer and Jai put on some music.

The door bell rang and Jess went to answer it.  Outside stood more people and most of them I didn't even know? "We heard there was a party?" one of the asked.

"Yeah, but we don't know you?" Jess said, glaring at them.

I let them in anyway because I didn't want to be rude, but Jess stopped someone from entering. I looked at them and they had bleach blonde hair and a cake face. Ashlee.

"No!" Jess exclaimed in her face.

Ashlee smiled and ducked under her arm. I shrugged at Jess and let Ashlee stay, I mean. we were celebrating tonight and no one could ruin it.

That's what I thought anyway.
