"I don't understand." Y/N says as she looks down at the tests. Her head tilted and her lips puckered in confusion. Jhené had to stop herself from smiling at Y/N's face. 'Now is not the time' Jhené thinks as she picks the tests up. "I'm going to go get more tests." Y/N says as she grabs her keys and makes her way out of their bathroom and down the stairs. "Hey! You forgot something!" Jhené yells. She hears Y/N fast footsteps as she runs back up the stairs. She grabs Jhené's face before bringing her into a kiss. She lets out a playful growl before pulling away when Jhené's face broke out into a smile and she started giggling. "I love you. I'll be back." Y/N pecks her lips once more before leaving.
Jhené sat down on their bed before grabbing her phone and calling her sisters. "Finally not getting your guts rearranged long enough to remember us?" Was the first thing Jamila says. "Gir- Why are you like this?" Jhené couldn't help but laugh at the comment. "Where's that loud mouth at anyways?" Jamila questions. "She ran to the store really fast for me... Well us technically." Jhené answers. Her eyes still on the tests in her free hand. "I'm gonna call her. Have her grab me some hot Cheetos." Jamila says. 'Just ask your question.' Jhené thinks to herself. "What does it mean when you get mixed answers from pregnancy tests? They're all the same brand too." Jhené finally speaks up. "YOU GOT MY SISTER PREGNANT!?" Jamila yells into her phone.
"Penny... I thought you were on birth control?" Miyoko questions. Her voice soft and filled with concern. "I am but I haven't had my period since my album release party that was over a month and a half ago. We just took some tests and we had 2 positives and 3 negative tests. She went to get more but I've noticed that Y/N has been sleepier lately and I've noticed my change in cravings too.I haven't gotten morning sickness but I don't know... I'm scared." Jhené speaks. "You think you're pregnant because big head has been sleeping longer?" Miyoko asks as she tries not to laugh.
"I'm serious! She has been sleeping in longer and she never sleeps in longer than 9:30 if she's not working on her album or doing promos." Jhené explains. "She's got sympathy pregnancy for you, Penny." Miyoko giggles. "I thought that was after they found out they were pregnant?" Jamila questions. "Who knows but I know my Y/N/N. She's been sleeping in and more sensitive lately. I have to be pregnant." Jhené states. "Well, the only true way to know is to set up an appointment and have them tell you. Did you want one of us to go with you? I know Y/N is taking care of you but if you want us there, we can fly out to you." Jamila speaks. "I think Y/N and I can handle it but I just wanted to know why the tests had different results." Jhené says. "I'm not quite sure why they're different but take those other tests and set up an appointment to confirm if you are pregnant." Miyoko advises her little sister. "Y/N just got back so I will let you guys know what they say." Jhené says before hanging up.
"Well your sisters know you might be pregnant." Y/N says as she walks into their room. She places the bag down and walks over to Jhené. "I asked them what it might mean for the tests to be different. I am going to set up an appointment so we can know for sure." Jhené tells Y/N. She smiles and wraps her arms around Y/N's shoulders as she kneels in front of her and between her legs. Her eyes closing as Jhené's fingers caressed the back of her neck and head. She opened her eyes and Jhené had to bite her lip at the brightness in Y/N's eyes. Her eyes usually a light brown but now they seemed brighter in color.
"I love you" Jhené speaks. She watches as Y/N's face starts heating up and could feel the heat from her face. Y/N's smile spreading across her face at Jhené's words. "I love you too" Y/N mumbles. She didn't trust her voice to speak louder. "We just started our careers Y/N/N." Jhené speaks. Her heart racing as she thinks about bringing a baby into their world and how it would affect their career. "I know" Y/N responds. She didn't have the right words for this situation and didn't want to say anything that would upset Jhené as she was already emotional. "What are we going to do?" Jhené's voice cracking as she thinks more about the fact their life was going to change.
"I- I can't tell you because I don't know myself but this isn't something I would want to experience with anyone else. It may seem hard now and we have no clue what we're doing but we have family that can help us learn. Our mothers know exactly how you feel and can help us. Let's find out if you got a mini you in there and we can go from there." Y/N speaks. Her hands moving up and down Jhené's sides to help soothe her. Y/N stands up and pulls Jhené up with her before pulling her into a hug and holding her close. Her own mind racing but she loved Jhené and could trust her. She wouldn't want anyone else to carry her baby. "I thought birth control was supposed to avoid this." Jhené mumbles.
"Maybe that's something we can ask the doctor when we go. I think we take these last couple tests and lay in bed the rest of the day. We can order some food and watch all your favorite movies." Y/N suggests. "Okay" Jhené says before she goes into their bathroom. Y/N hands her the tests and leaves the bathroom. She set up their bedroom and grabbed their cable remote. She opened the on demand and scrolled through the movies as she waited for Jhené to finish.
The door opened and Y/N looked at her girlfriend. Her shoulders shaking as she cried. She held out the tests for Y/N before wrapping her arms around Y/N. Y/N looks at the tests and feels herself tense up at the positive results on all three of the tests. Y/N tossed the tests onto their dresser and wrapped her arms tighter around Jhené. "We'll be okay... We'll be okay Né. I'll make sure of it." Y/N speaks. Her heart racing as she slightly panics at the thought of having a baby. She was freshly 18 and was still learning herself but she's responsible for the creation of the baby. She wasn't going anywhere.
She walks backwards before taking a seat on the edge of their bed. She lifts Jhené into her lap and just holds her as she calms down. Jhené lifts her head and Y/N gives her a smile before lifting her hand and wiping her tears away. "You will look so beautiful with our baby growing inside of you." Y/N speaks and can't help the chuckle when Jhené giggles. "You're just happy my boobs will be bigger." Jhené says and Y/N couldn't help but laugh. "If I motor boat them too hard will they squirt milk?" Jhené laughs before pushing Y/N's head away when she tries to motor boat her. Their laughter slowly stopping before they go silent and just holds each other.
"Thank you for soothing me." Jhené speaks after a few minutes of silence. "Of course, baby. I love you and its my job as your significant other is to make you're safe, happy, and well taken care of. My baby is in you and I need to make sure you guys are good. I don't want you stressing over your career because I'll handle all of that. We'll be good. We Thuggy Y/N/N and Né Né. Nothing's stopping us baby." Jhené giggles before leaning down and pressing their lips together. "I love you" She whispers against Y/N's lips. "I love you more. Now let's turn on a movie and relax." Y/N keeps Jhené in her laps as she crab walks backwards on their bed and lays down. "That was sexy." Jhene speaks seductively and Y/N lets out a snort. "Talking like that is why we in this situation." Y/N jokes.
