I walked outside to say good bye to Matt since he was leaving for his road trip.

"Bye Matt." I said waving goodbye. "Bye Kevvy."

I walked back into the apartment and went to the bathroom to finish my hair.

Today I was going to see Noah again. I haven't seen him since the Christmas before Jemima died.

We never really talked. After him and Jemima dated when Jem was 20 and he was 22 he thought that I always took her side.

I straightened my hair and tied it back in a pony tail. I got a text from Caitlin. I smiled because it was her, Mike, and Jemima together.

I put on my cardigan and left.

I got to Starbucks and ordered my coffee. I sat down and looked around for Noah.

After about 5 minutes, I saw Noah come in with a girl with incredibly red hair.

"Cassidy." he said walking over to me.

"Hi Noah. You must be Veronica." I said looking at the girl next to him.

"It's Ronnie. But Veronica's good too." she said.

"Oh. Congratulations about the engagment." I said.

"Thanks. We haven't talked in forever. How was Harvard? Are you still dating Matt?" he asked.

"It was great and yeah. I'm still dating Matt." I told him.

"Cool." Noah said.

"I'm going to get some coffee. Want anything sweetie?" Ronnie asked Noah.

"Yeah."

When she walked to the line, I looked at Noah. I had to tell him about everything. "Noah, I want to tell you something but you have to promise me that you won't freak out or tell mom and dad."

"Promise." he said.

"So, you know that Toronto shooting thing that happened not long ago?" I asked. He nodded. "I was there. Caitlin was there too. She lost an arm from it."

"What?! Are you okay? What about Jemima? Was she with you?" That question killed me.

"I'm fine. No, Jemima wasn't there. She's dead." I told him.

"Really? I'm so sorry. I know how close you two were."

"It's been almost 4 years. But what about you? How did you and Ronnie meet?" I asked.

"I was going to a party and she was there. We talked and found out that we have a lot in common." he told me.

Ronnie came back with the drinks and looked at me.

"I love your hair." she said.

"Thanks."

"You know, I'm a hair dresser. I can help you fix up the colour before the wedding." she told me.

"This is my natural hair colour." I told her, confused.

"Oh, I couldn't tell." she said.

I smiled but in my mind I was thinking 'Bitch, your hair is obvisously dyed.'

A bit later Noah went to the bathroom.

"Cassidy, can I ask you something?" Ronnie asked.

"Sure."

"Do you think I could get in contact with any of Noahs ex-girlfriends?" she asked. Woah. Creepy stalker chick.
