Chapter 17

I was getting ready for Caitlin and Samantha to come over. The wedding was in 3 days.

"I'm going to Josh's." Matt said.

"Don't kill anyone." I told him.

"I won't."

"Make sure Josh doesn't kill anyone."

"No promises."

I laughed and put on my favourite cardigan. A few minutes later someone rang the door bell. I thought it was Caitlin or Samantha so I was pretty surprised of who was at the door.

"June!" I said hugging her.

"I know I wasn't supposed to come until tomorrow but, I thought I would surprise you." she told me.

"Well thanks for coming. A couple of my friends are coming over soon." I told her.

After Samantha and Caitlin arrived we sat down to watch a movie.

"So, Samantha. You've never told us the story about how you and Josh met." I said.

She frowned a bit. "I was leaving skating practice and he almost hit me with his car. I shouted at him and he asked me if I wanted to go to coffee. He asked me what happened. I told him that my ex boyfriend called me up out of the blue asking if I wanted to get back together and that I didn't pay my rent so I had a 30 day notice. He told me that I could stay with him for a bit. We went back to his house, talked for a bit, then I kissed him and Ian walked in on us." she told us.

We laughed at her and she asked to talk to me alone.

"Can I stay the night?" she asked.

"What hapened?" I asked automatically.

"One of Josh's friends, that is a girl by the way, had a bad break up so Josh let her stay at our house last night wothout telling me. If he told me I would have been fine with it."

"Okay. You can stay. But you better patch things up before the wedding." I said. She nodded.

About 3 hours later, Matt called.

"Hi, Matt." I said.

"Hello pretty person." he said.

"Are you drunk?" I asked.

"Just a little bit." he said.

"Okay, give your phone to Josh." I told him.

"Hello Cassidy." he said.

"Are you drunk?" I asked.

"Nope. What do you need?"

"Keep Matt at your house until he is sober enough to drive himself home. I already have your girlfriend over here." I told him.

"Is she still mad?"

"Yeah. Wait, on second thought, Caitlin and my friend June just left. Could you drive Matt home and then you can talk to Samantha."

"Okay." he said.

I could hear Ian faintly in the background saying that he was an octogon.

When Josh arrived I told him to go into the spare bedrooms that Samantha was going to sleep. Matt tried to talk to me but I told him that he needed his beaty sleep. I noticed that Josh had been in the room  for about 10 minutes.

"Is everything okay?" I quickly shut my eyes. "Oh god, could you guys go home and continue? This is my house."

"Oh sorry Cassidy, we'll leave." Samantha said.

I waved goodbye and checked the time. 2AM. Only 2 more days until the big day.
