Dr. Shareef's POV Oh my goodness...it's here. It is finally here. Today is my wedding day and I am so nervous. By the end of day, I will not only be Dr. Shareef but I will also be known by another name....Mrs. Dwayne Johnson. As I sit up in bed after only getting a couple of hours of sleep due to my nervousness, I'm looking at my wedding gown hanging on my closet door, wondering what my married life is going to be like. I can't help but wonder if Dwayne is going to want me to become a housewife and eventually bear his children or will I continue with a career that worked every hard to accomplish. I know that Dwayne is a deeply traditional man who highly values his Samoan roots, but I became a doctor not just to make money but to also take care of those who are vulnerable and I don't want to give that up.

As I swing my legs over the side of the bed, I see a missed text on my phone. When I pick it up, I see the text is from Dwayne....
Dwayne: Good morning to the love of my life. I'm so excited to know that by this afternoon I will be your husband and you will be my wife. I know you're going to be so beautiful as you walk down that aisle. Can't wait to say I do. See you soon. I love you to the moon and back. 🥰🥰🥰
I smile at the text and send a reply....
Me: Good morning to you hubby to be. I'm excited too for us to be married. I promise to be a good wife to you and also can't wait to say I do. I'll see you soon my love. Xoxoxo 💋
I stand up from the bed and stretch. Since I have a couple of hours before my bridesmaids, maid of honor, wedding planner, hair stylist and makeup artist arrive, so I decided to have a very light breakfast of coffee, a poached egg and a slice of toast, and look forward to the day ahead.
Dwayne's POV
Man, just think. In several hours, I'll be a married man. I'm about to marry a beautiful, intelligent queen that any man would be jackpot lucky to have. I think about all the money that was spent on this wedding and you know, I wish I could spend more. We are having hundreds of people watch us exchange vows in a heavily decorated banquet hall decked out with beautiful white roses, wide variety of food and the champagne is going to flow while having 7 piece band and a DJ. But if I'm being honest, we could have just eloped to Las Vegas and spent our honeymoon there. But I wanted to give my queen the wedding and honeymoon of her dreams. Why? Because she's worth it and I knew the first time I laid eyes on her that she was gonna be my wife and eventually mother of my children. You're probably asking if I'm going to be like my cousins and knock my wife up right away, and the answer is yes. Because at the end of the day, I am a traditional Samoan man with traditional beliefs and I want a big family with lots of kids, and be the patriarch of my family. If I'm being really honest, the only difference between Joe and my cousins and myself, is that they are locked up and I'm not. But I'm just as possessive and jealous over my woman as they are, if not more so. So in other words, I keep my craziness under wraps. Now, I know that my wife to be is an accomplished physician and she worked hard for it, but I also want her to be home with my children and take care of the house. So as I wait for my best man Jason and the other groomsman to arrive, I'll have some coffee and just mentally prepare myself for my wedding day.
