Brad: Man these houses are bigger then my old ones

Zach: Yeah 5 bedrooms 4 bathrooms that's pretty big

{Knocking coming from the door}
{Door Opens}

Zoey: Hi I'm Zoey and I'm pretty sure you have met Jay already

Brad: Uhh... No... I uhhhh haven't...

Zach: You okay?

Zoey: Anyway Nick our supply manager asked us to bring these supplies to you guys so.... Here you go

{Hands basket full of food, water, medical and other items to brad}

Brad: Thanks you...

Zoey: Hey anytime also did you guys get your jobs? Sounds dumb I know that we have jobs in the end of the world but like Ry said we have no room in this place for slackers and dead weights so

Zach: I've gotten mine so has Zander, German, Tanner, Amy and Jacob what about you?

Brad: ...

Zach: Brad!

Brad: Huh what oh yeah Douglas said he has something planned for me I go in tomorrow to find out what it is

Zoey: oh boy

Brad: What?

Jay: He's going to make you in charge of something I can tell

Brad: How's that bad?

Jay: If anyone dies on your watch you can get in serious trouble Douglas killed this guy named Joe because he got 3 people killed in one day

Zoey: Oh yeah he shot him right in front of us all and threatened everyone the same fate of it happened again

Brad: What! That's not right

Zoey: Doesn't have to be it's the end of the world

Jay: Well we better go curfew for now is 11:00

Zoey: Catch you guys later?

Brad: Defiantly

Zoey: Sweet see you around

Zach: Bye have a safe night

{Zach shuts the door}

Zach: What was that mister Uh... Uh... I Uhh

Brad: What

Zach: you like her don't you

Brad: Well... I don't know maybe

Zach: Ha well I'm going to bed night

Brad: Night

{The next morning}

Tanner: You'll do fine trust me

Brad: Did you not hear me if I'm put in a leadership position I could die!

Tanner: you'll do fine you are an amazing leader now go in there

Brad: Ehh

Tanner: Go!

Brad: Okay okay

{Door Opens}

Brad: Hello?

Douglas: Ahh brad right on time come sit

{Brad takes a seat}

Douglas: Coffee?

Brad: No thanks

Douglas: Very well then

Brad: Soo what's this job you have for me?

Douglas: Well I talked to German and he was explaining how you got them or of that recreation center he said you were a born leader so I have a job and I'm wondering if you will do it

Brad: What is it

Douglas: well you will lead 4 of my people on runs

Brad: So like a scavenger?

Douglas: Yes that

Brad: Seems easy who will I be working with?

Douglas: Will, Karl, Isaac and Zoey

Brad: Oh okay

Douglas: Is that a problem?

Brad: No I was just uhh... I'll take it

Douglas: Excellent you will lead the scavenge for supplies or whatever you young people like to call it now-a-days you will leave every other day at 11:00 am and be back at 10:30 pm understood

Brad: Understood

Douglas: Excellent now you better get a move on its almost 11:00 you have about 15 minutes to gear up

Brad: What I'm leaving now?

Douglas: Mhmm now you better go I'm very busy good luck out there

{Starts leading brad to the door}

Brad: But I have so many questions

{Douglas opens the door and brad steps out}

Douglas: And they will be answered in due time

Brad: But

{Door closes}

Brad: Hmm okay

Tanner: So?

Brad: I got the job of leading people to scavenge the city

Tanner: Oh shit...

Brad: Oh boy this is gonna be difficult

Tanner: You bet

Brad: He was also acting all suspicious and secretive

Tanner: Huh strange

Brad: Well I better go

Tanner: Good luck

Brad: thanks
