Chapter 5

Mitch's POV
When Lillian explained, I was shocked. How can that happen to someone? I bring her into my chest and hug her.
"Oh Lillian. If only I could believe you." I say sweetly. She pulls back and her lip quivers.
"Mitch please. You have to believe me. It's the truth. Please. I love you." She sobs. My eyes soften for a second before they hold a cold glare.
"Get out." I growl. Something flips inside of her and she glares back.
"Fine." She growls back. She walks out without a second glance and I fall to the floor crying.
"What have I done?" I whisper repeatedly. I just lost the love of my life. My soul reason to live. I need her back! I ran out of the door calling her name. I feel someone's hands on my head then everything goes black.

Klaus's POV
I see Lillian walking out the house of my nephew. Oh how stupid. I run up to her and snap her neck then drag her to the shadows. A few minutes later, my nephew comes out calling her name. I see tear stains on his cheek. I roll my eyes at his pathetic behaviour. I run up to him and snap his neck. I hear a growl from behind me and see Elijah there.
"Why hello Lijah." I say smirking.
"Why did you just snap my son's neck?" He growls furiously.
"I need his unconscious body." I reply.
"You aren't taking his body." He says and before I can react, Mitch and Elijah are gone. I growl in frustration. Oh well. I'll use Lillian's. I shrug and grab her body and vamp speed to the Wickery Bridge. She stirs and I smirk. She stands up and looks at me. I look in her eyes and say,
"I want you to go to the edge of bridge and stand above the water. Do not move until I say so." She nods and does what I say. Perfect. I run to the boarding house and knock on the door. Damon answers and when he sees me, rolls his eyes.
"That's not nice, Damon." I smirk.
"What do you want, Klaus?" He asks.
"Get Melanie here as well. I'm sure you would both like to hear this." I finish and Melanie vamps down. She sees me and growls.
"If you want your daughter back home and safe, I suggest you come with me." Damon walks forward.
"Not you, Damon. Melanie." I say smirking. Damon puts Melanie behind him.
"She isn't going anywhere." He growls protectively.
"Then Lillian dies." I shrug and vamp speed. I go to the Wickery Bridge and see Lillian still at the edge but she's crying.
"Let me go. Please Klaus." She sobs. Emotions are one's weakness. Hmmm. Maybe she can become my little companion. I vamp speed and say,
"You can move but over this way." She sighs with relief and moves away from the edge. I compel her again saying,
"You will come with me. You will do what I say without argument. You kill anyone I say to kill. You will also turn your humanity off. Don't fight it." She closes her eyes and I can see the switch flipping. She opens them again and smirks.
"Where to, Klaus?" She asks.
"First... I want you to go home and pack your things and meet me at the Mikaelson Mansion when you are done." She nods and vamps off. This is going to be fun.
