Kol's POV
My beautiful Lillian is back. She looks amazing.
"I'm so sorry Kol. It's my fault you are like this." She says breaking down.
"Shush. It's not your fault, my rose. It's not. You mean a lot to me and I'm glad that we are finally reunited. Where were you though?" I ask.
"The bottom of Wickery Bridge's river bed."
"But I looked before and I couldn't see you."
"Invisibility spell." I nod. That makes sense.
"Why? Why did you do it?"
"Ask my dad. He can explain it. I just wanna sleep." She says and I see bags under her eyes. I move on as much as I can without trying to look weak and she slides in next to me. I pull her into my chest and she rests her head on my chest. She's so warm.
"Baby? Will we ever have a future where there is no drama?" She asks. She's trying not to sleep.
"My rose, just go to sleep. We'll talk about this tomorrow. Ok?" She nods lazily and falls asleep and I eventually fall asleep to the sound of her steady breathing. I have my rose back. My rock. My everything.
