Clara's POV
My phone rings and I pick it up without looking at the caller.
(C-Clara, E-Emma)
C- Hello?
E- Clara?
C- Hey Em. Whats wrong?
E- You know that I had been gone for over 18 years away from Mystic Falls?
C- Yeah.........?
E- Melanie had a child and she tried suicide today. She's now in a coma with a 99% chance of not waking up.
C- Well maybe you should talk with Melanie and see what happened.
E- I already know what happened. I also told Damon the real reason I was gone and Melanie over heard and now she hates me.
C- Thats her loss then, isn't it?
E- I don't know. I gotta go but I'll call you later.
C- Don't bother.

I hang up with a sigh. This is the first time she has the decency to call me after so long. She only wanted to tell me her problems. I growl and drink a blood bag. I go up to bed and fall asleep.

Emma's POV
Ouch. That hurt. I guess that's what happens in life. You lose some, you gain some. I sigh and get up from my bed. I yawn and stretch out. I go downstairs into the cellar and grab a blood bag. I go into the lounge and start thinking. Melanie hates me. Clara doesn't want to talk to me. Damon probably hates me. Stefan... I haven't even seen Stefan. Is he ok? Is he even alive? What about everyone else? I hear the front door open and then close and I frown. Why would anyone be entering the house this late? I vamp speed and choke them against the wall. I sigh in relief as I see it's just Damon. When did he leave? I swallow in nervousness.
"H-hey D-Damon." I stutter out letting go of him.
"Emma. You know that I love you, right?" He asks.
"No. I don't. I gotta go. Sorry for coming back." I say with tears rolling down my face. I go to walk out but Damon grabs a hold of my arm. I turn to him and he has tears in his eyes.
"Please EmmaBear. Don't leave me. Not again." He begs and I sigh.
"I need time. I'll be back when I'm ready." I sob and walk out knowing Damon's eyes are on me. I never should have came back.
