Chapter 17

It was Wednesday. As usual, i got ready for work and went to prepare breakfast. I hadn't slept last night, i was missing Ben so much that i lost my sleep. We were texting till late night but still it wasn't possible for me to sleep.

Ohh Ben..please come back soon..

I decided to prepare some pancakes for breakfast i was bit early today as i haven't slept much. I prepared the batter and made pancakes.

"Hey Sammy!! Morning." Sophie came in kitchen and greeted.

"Sops..morning." i said giving her a tight smile.

"Hey !! Whats wrong?" she asked worried

"Don't worry sops, it's just..i didn't sleep well besides Ben is not here. He had to go to Colorado for some urgent business."

"Ohh..so seems someone is missing Ben.." she said grinning.

"Hmm...that's true." i said blushing.

"Don't worry sammy..he will be back soon. Hey but you are coming today for the dinner right?"

"Ohh yes..i will be there, but please inform Rose that Ben couldn't attend."

"Okay..We will leave at 6.30 in evening. Is that okay?"

"Yeah..fine." I smiled at her.

"Come let's have breakfast, i have prepared pancakes."

"Did anyone mentioned PANCAKES?"

We turned around to see Jim standing at the living room grinning at us.

"Jim..hi..." i went towards him and gave him a side hug.

"Hi!!..How are you?"

"I am good..How about you?" i asked him smiling.

"I am fine...I know Ben is not here so i thought i should check upon you."

"Ohh so you are here for sammy and not for me?" Ana said entering the living room.

"Babe, stop kidding your girlfriends and i have two reasons to be here today one is to check upon sammy and the other and most important is to pick my beautiful girlfriend for work." he said going towards Ana and kissing her lightly.

Ana smiled at him and i saw sops who gave me a smile too..

I wonder how we all got our mates in the same year. Such a nice coincidence. Though sops has got it earlier but they made it now..Soon, sophie would be married and maybe later Ana and Me too..

"Is someone going to feed me my favourite pancakes? i am famished.."

We all laughed at his funny actions and had breakfast. Atleast morning started on a good note just because of Jim. Ana and Jim left for work while Sophie stayed back as she had taken leave. Her brother Noah who lives in florida and is an architect was arriving this afternoon. Besides, Neman couldn't attend todays's dinner but he will visit us soon.

Noah was a nice guy. Good that he will be here. We will be busy with him next two days. He usually hangs out with all of us girls everytime he comes, and he is indeed a good company.

Soon, I reached work and got a call from Mrs. Trevor.

"Good Morning Sammy dear."

"Morning Mrs. Trevor. How are you?"

"I am fine dear. How are you?"

"umm.. i am good."

"Can you pay me a visit in few minutes if its possible for you?"
