Chapter 30

We entered my house drive way. I saw my car was following us. Jim was driving my car. Ben parked his car and i got out.

"Sammy!!"

I heard Sophie and Ana coming out towards me from the door. They both came near me and hugged.

"Sammy, ohh god..are you okay?" Sophie asked concerned. I nodded.

"Let's get her in, Sophie." Ana said.

We all went inside and i excused myself for a while. Ben looked at me concerned.

"I'll just take a shower, i think i will feel better." i said and he nodded.

I went to my bedroom and showered. Changing into shorts and tank top i went downstairs.

"Sammy..i have made some fruit juice for you. Here have it..you will feel better." Ana said handling me the glass.

I drank the whole glass. Umm i feel so good now. I had an empty stomach since the incident with Mike.

"Thanks Ana, i really needed it." i said smiling at her.

She nodded giving me a smile and went to the kitchen.

I saw Ben and Jim sitting on sofa. Sophie was sitting across talking with them. I went towards them and sat besides Ben. I don't want to leave him at all. I rested my head on his shoulder and stayed like that.

"Are you feeling better?" Ben asked.

"Yes..." i said.

He hugged me from side and gave a kiss.

"I'm sorry for what i did to you." Ben said.

"Ben, i know everything, it wasn't your fault." i said looking at him.

"Okay are you guys gonna tell us what exactly happened?" Ana asked entering through kitchen.

I told them my part of the story after i got call from Mike. I told them how i left the message with Ben's secretary Sia then gave address to Margaret. The call which i made to my trustworth friend and told everything to him.

"..ohh god so much happened and we couldn't do anything. But who was the person you called?" Sophie asked.

"Well...i called Jim." i said looking at him. He shrugged smiling.

"At that time i didn't know what to do. I had left broken messages with Sia and Margaret but what if Ben didn't came back to office.

Besides, even i needed some assurance of my security. I was feeling very weak by evening. The best person to call that time was Jim, i could trust him and i was sure Mike didn't knew much about Jim. He really is my true brother. He tried to contact Ben at first but Ben wasn't receiving his calls too but he knew Ben would call back.
So, he followed me from office to Mike's given address. Though he took a cab so there won't be any clue that someone was with me. While talking to Mike i kept my phone call to Jim ON so that he could hear what Mike was upto..

We decided that when i went into Mike's parents home i will give him a call from speed dial if anything wents wrong and if i didn't get out for more than an hour he will come in. Thank god you both came on time..i don't know what Mike would have done to me tonight...." i sighed shaking my head.

"When do you come to know Ben?" i looked at him. He sighed.

"In evening around six thirty. I got late in my meeting and decided to cancel the last appointment in office and started heading home when i got Ben's voice message. I saw yours too but till i could reply or call you i got call from Jim again. He told me everything and i immediately left to get you. Jim was telling me the situation over calls. I reached the location in an hour or so. I was so mad at myself. Once reached there I was getting inside that place but Jim stopped me. He told me everything and we heard a noise of something from inside. Panicked we immediately came in and saw Mike holding you close..." he said angrily.
