Chapter 24

After chatting with dad i went back to my room. When i entered i saw ben lying on bed. I smiled and joined him. He hugged me and cuddled.

"Your parents are really nice. I could be myself here. I really liked it." he said.

"Hmm..what did you say to dad? I asked looking at him.

"Well we were just discussing general about business and my family, and i told him how sexy you are and how you bite my ear while making love to me.." he said in serious tone..

"Hmm.....wait..what??? BEN!!! Are you crazy?" i shouted shocked at what he said.

He started laughing aloud.

"Babe..i was just kidding.." he said in between still laughing. I punched him playfully in his stomach and got out of his hold. He pulled me towards him holding my face near him.. He kissed me and smiled.

"You look so cute when you act like this. So innocent." he said and i blushed.

I hugged him and we lied in my bed for some time. Then, i showed him my childhood pictures and some of my old family memories.

He was looking at it so interestingly. I wonder how i found him..he seems so concerned about everything related to me. I heard a knock on the door, i opened and saw Susie.

"Dii..sorry to disturb you both...i just came to check up on you."

"It's fine sweety..come in..i was showing him our childhood pics." i said and she came in.

I and Susie were telling Ben our childhood memories. He was listening and laughing at Susie's jokes. Ben was so open to her even he shared some of his memories. I was surprised to know he was a very quiet boy in school.

Few hours passed and finally it was time to leave..i hugged everyone, Ben did the same. He already became a part of us in such a short time.

"Don't worry guys..i will take care of your daughter, she is my responsibility now." Ben said to my parents. I smiled at him.

"Oh thank you Ben...and take care of yourself too." mom said and hugged him.

"Yes i will. See you guys." he said and went to his car. I looked at everyone.

"Sammy..take care dear..you've got a very nice partner." dad said. I nodded and smiled at them. As usual mom handed me bags of flowers and veggies and escorted me to Ben's car. We bidded farewell and left.

I let out a sigh. Ben kept his hand on my thigh.

"We will visit them more often Sam." he assured and i nodded.

"Ben can you just stop by the pastry shop..i need to buy some for Ana and Sophie..otherwise they would kill me.." i said grinning. He laughed and parked car.

"I will be back in few..." i said and entered the shop.

I ordered pastries for myself, Ana, Sophie, Noah, Ben and Jim too...Ana had called me before we were leaving specially instructing me to buy a dark chocolate pastry for Jim.

"Samantha?" i heard a familiar voice but couldn't trace who it was. I turned and gasped at the person standing in front of me smiling.

He was looking too good in a jeans and tshirt just like those days. He had built muscles and had a model like look...

"Mike!" i whispered.

"Hi...it's so good to see you here in Portland. Where were you this many years??" he said and looked at me..head to toe.

"..and you look so hot...i mean beautiful." he said blinking multiple times as if confirming through his eyes.

"Ahh....I'm good..umm Mike. I left Portland after high school." and after you cheated and made me fool. I said pissed in my mind.
