The First One...

Chapter 39

"What? Really?" i squeaked excited.

"Yes honey we do..come home we will tell you everything."

"Ohh Ben..i can't wait to reach."

"Okay, drive safely."

"Yes dear. Bye."

I drove home as fast as i could. Once reached i saw Ben and Charles talking.

"Hi...what is it?"

"Well....." they told me everything. I was so happy we finally got what we wanted.

"Ben, that's great. But...i wanted to tell you both something."

"What's that Ms. Collins?" Charles asked.

I told them about Nessie and our meeting at the hospital.

"That's a great news. This could help us."

"Wait....i have a plan." i said looking at them.

Today was a very important day for us. It was like Do or Die for Ben and me as well. It was Saturday, we mostly stayed at home till evening. I went out in morning to make our plan work. Everything was set up and i just  prayed to god for letting everything happen as we have decided.

"It's time!" Ben said coming out of his room. I was sitting on the couch in the hall bit nervous.

"Ben, i just hope everything goes well."

"Don't worry babe, everything will be fine. Remember, i love you and i won't let you go away from me." he said caressing me.

"I love you Ben." i said in his embrace breathing his infamous scent for bit too long. I sighed.

"Are you ready?" he asked me.

"Yes..you called Charles?"

"Yeah, he is all set."

"Great then let's do it." i said smiling at him.

We left house and he drove his car to the address Amber had texted him. It was some unknown place in the outskirts of Seattle. I took my car and drove to the opposite side to collect someone.

Charles had given me and Ben both a small headset through which we could hear everything thats going on. Charles was too having one connected to us.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes i am." the person who i collected said. I nodded and drove towards the address Ben was heading too. Seemed he reached there. It wasn't far but i will need ten minutes to reach. I was hearing everything that was happening.

'Finally you are here.'

'Yes Amber.'

'So, i will come straight to the point. What is your decision?'

Ben stayed quiet for a while. What is he thinking?

'Well, i couldn't live without Sam. So, i am rejecting your both offers. I will not accept you neither will i leave my love.'

I heard Amber laughing loudly. I speeded my car. Just few minutes Ben and i would be there with you.

'Well, you have let me no choice then. I have to kill you.' she said and my heart started racing. I started imagining Amber helding the gun towards Ben. Nooo!!!!

'You need to listen to me Amber. Please. You are not responsible for anything. You haven't killed Mr. Ray.' Ben explained her and i heard her gasping loudly.
