Kaoru : (browsing her shots) ... Hmm... I guess the shooting techniques were helpful... it did turn out quite good. (feels proud)
Mika : (comes in)
Kaoru : (sees her) O-Oe...san.
Mika : Hm? Nani?
Kaoru : ... Uh... iya... about last time...
Mika : (wonders) Last time?
Kaoru : I don't want to create an awkward atmosphere here at work... that's why I'm asking you... I hope you'll not mention anything to Matsubara... or anyone else, in that matter... just treat it as if you didn't hear it from me.
Mika : (confused) What are you talking about?
(Ukiyo comes in.)
Mika : (looks at him)
Kaoru : (feels nervous and turns away)
Ukiyo : (tries to act fine) Yo. Oe. Nishioka.
Mika : (bows)
Ukiyo : Schedule?
Mika : Ah, here.
Ukiyo : (looks at it)
Kaoru : (keeps silent and goes back to work)
Mika : Ah, sou... (goes over to Kaoru and whispers to her) Ne...
Kaoru : Eh?
Mika : Are you really okay now? ... I mean... you're not angry at me or anything, are you?
Kaoru : Wha-? (wonders)
Mika : What you said just a while ago... I'm a bit confused...but, I mean... bringing the topic that night... I kinda sensed that you were avoiding it... so I was worried if you felt bad towards me.
Kaoru : (shocked) What are you saying, Oe-san... but... I already told you everything... (glances at Ukiyo and shuts her mouth)
Mika : Eh? Tell me what? You didn't tell me anything at all.
(Ukiyo overhears them and turns his head.)
Ukiyo : Oe. Shouldn't you be at the meeting with Kanae-san and the others?
Mika : Geh... why does he sound so strict suddenly...? (stands up)
Kaoru : Chotto, Oe-san. (grabs her arm)
Mika : Eh? What? I gotta go now or I'll really get it from Matsubara-san-
Kaoru : ... Promise me. You won't say a word about what I told you at the washroom.
Mika : (surprised) Washroom?
Kaoru : (nods)
Mika : ... (recalls) ... (turns to Ukiyo) Ne, Matsubara-san... I think Kaoru-chan's a little mistaken here. (chuckles)
Kaoru : (turns to Ukiyo)
Ukiyo : (seems troubled)
Mika : Matsubara-san and I went together to check on you at the washroom... but someone called me so I had to take the call.
Kaoru : (freezes) W... what?
Mika : Matsubara-san said he'll try to talk you out of your frustration... eh? Didn't you two talk that time?
