"We'll have to clear out of the gym soon, but we should have enough time for one more run through." Kirishima told our classmates, sitting on the gym floor next to Sero and Koda.

It was the night before the school festival and we were wrapping up rehearsals. We had to make it count due to the fact that we only had hours until the concert.

"Look alive!" Mina shouted, clapping her hands together to get the attention of the dancers. She gave them their counts, keeping them in sync as they began to dance.

I paced back and forth, making sure everyone was hitting their steps. If I was being honest, I was hella nervous to dance in front of others. I had just gotten comfortable dancing in front of the class, and now I have to do it in front of the entire school?

"Then Aoyama goes to the center and Midoriya books it offstage." Mina said, pointing to the different spots with her fingers.

"Please be careful, I would hate for anyone to fall off the stage." I spoke up, swaying back and forth from my toes to my heels.

"On it!" Izuku replied.

"Oui." Aoyama smirked.

Mina then pointed at Izuku, "Midoriya, you're still lacking passion, so bring the fire!"

"Roger!" Izuku replied.

"Okay, from the top!" I clapped my hands, ushering the group to start dancing again. Mina laughed, pulling me over to dance along with me.

Tomorrow was the festival, and suddenly, I wasn't feeling so nervous.

———

"Wait, Midoriya is not back yet?" My father asked, staring at the anxious students in front of him.

Earlier this morning, the green haired boy went out to buy a last minute supply that we needed or else the concert would flop. He should've been back a while ago, but we go on in a few minutes and he isn't back yet.

"All he has to do was buy rope!" Sero exclaimed, "what's taking so long?!"

I fiddled nervously with my orange costume. It wasn't the most flattering color, but it was okay. Not sure why a more neutral color wasn't on the table... but nobody complained.

"I mean, for real!" Hagakure exclaimed, throwing her arms in the air.

"I'm not wearing that!" Bakugo exclaimed, refusing to wear the band shirt that the rest of the band was wearing. It wasn't getting frustrating.

"Just wear it, it won't kill you!" I huffed, trying to distract him while Denki came up behind him with a surprise attack.

"I'll kill you." He replied, glaring at me. Suddenly, Denki threw the shirt over the ashe blonde's head. It slipped onto him in one swift motion, making me laugh as Bakugo's face contorted in anger.

"Calm down, you idiot!" I laughed, patting his shoulder. He let out a small sigh, grumbling profanities as he wore the shirt reluctantly.

"Thank you, Izumi!" Denki said, throwing his arm over my shoulder as he pulled me into his side.

"No problemo!" I laughed before rushing off to join the rest of the dance crew.

When it was time to get on stage, we all got in our places quickly. Ochaco and Hagakure peered out from behind the curtain, staring out at the audience from out of view.

"There are way more people here than I thought there'd be..." Hagakure said, her nervousness showing through her voice. I walked over, patting her shoulder.

"At least everyone sounds like they're in a good mood." Sato spoke up, joining the girls. At this point, everyone was trying to get a good view of the audience. The sight was just making them even more nervous.
