"So, your friend group is going through some friendship issues?" I asked, listening to Kana and Maho rant. We were at my favorite cafe. We planned to each breakfast together before heading to class.
"Yes, all because of the couple. Well— they aren't a couple anymore." Kana replied, eating a cheeseburger.
"Apparently Fuiko cheated on Hoshi! And now neither of them are talking to each other." Maho ran her fingers through her blue hair. She had her hair down instead of in her usual braids.
"Who did Fuiko cheat on Hoshi with?" I asked.
"Mei." Kana sipped on her water.
"So Fuiko is gay? Or maybe bi? Is Hoshi okay? Getting cheated on especially with someone in the friend group must suck." I said, eating my crepe.
"Hoshi is kind a mess but I guess he's ok? Also, Fuiko told me she was bi and we kind almost kissed..." Maho explained.
"She almost kissed you too?" Kana turned to Maho. I furrowed my eyebrows. I don't think you almost kiss your friends.
"It was in the very beginning in the year." Maho explained. Kana nodded.
"Mine was when I first met her."
"I don't think friends try to kiss their friends especially when they have a boyfriend. That wasn't a red flag to you guys?" I asked.
"She didn't throw herself at me." Kana replied.
"Yeah, it's just kinda happened." Maho agreed.
"Just watch out. I don't want you guys to get caught up in their mess. They need to resolve this by themselves." I told them. They nodded.
"Don't worry about us." Maho reassured me.

"The hero work studies are a more serious version of your internships. They entail helping pro agencies on the streets and with investigations. Your teachers and the principal discussed them at the faculty meeting. And we all agree. It's too soon." My father told the class. "They should really be canceled."
"WHAT!?" The class exclaimed. I sighed in relief. I was lowkey panicking about where I was going to intern at all that good stuff.
"Aw, but we already met about them!" Kirishima whined.
"I guess, when you think about why we had to move into the dorms, it does make sense." Denki said, playing with Ojiro's tail.
"Haha!" Bakugo slammed his hands onto his desk. I covered my ears form the noise.
"Just because you wouldn't get to do one..." Hagakure grumbled about the ashe blonde. I shook my head.
"But... some people think we won't be able to raise strong heroes with that sort of protective outlook." He said. Screw whoever said that. "And with that in mind, the compromise is to be selective about participating agencies. So choose one with a proven track record. Otherwise, you won't be taking part."
I turned back to glance at Bakugo as he shrank back into his seat. My classmates whispered to themselves and each other as I gave him a tight lipped look. He turned away from me.
"Damn it!" Bakugo exclaimed, shooting back up from his chair. I sighed and face palmed. Does he not get tired of shouting all of the time?

"Do you guys like the pro heroes you do your hero work studies with?" I asked, approaching my favorite third years. I stood in front of Tamaki's desk while Nejire and Mirio stood by his side.
"Fat Gum is okay. He'd probably be happy to take you on. He's very talkative though..." Tamaki muttered.
"Sir Nighteye can come off as standoffish but loves to joke around! He's a great mentor and he used to be All Might's sidekick. He's super dope!" Mirio exclaimed. I nodded along, thinking it over.
