Truth

When you awoke, you found yourself in the school infirmary. After the siren hit the shield, you blacked out. The last thing you remembered was Rin's worried expression plastered on his face. You heard a knock at the door.

"May we come in?" You heard Yukio's voice. "Yeah. Come on in." You replied. Yukio and Rin entered the room. "Are you okay?" "Yeah. How long was I out?" You realized the worried look on Rin's face.

'Cute' you thought. "About a week. You really gave us a scare." Yukio replied. Were you really unconscious for a week? "I was under for that long?" You hoped you didn't miss anything important. "Yes. Are you going to be okay for tomorrow? " You felt well enough to go to school."Yeah, I think I'll be okay." "Alright. I'll check up on you later." Yukio left the room, but Rin didn't.

"Hey. You feeling okay?" He was worried about you. You could tell in his voice. "Yeah. Must've fainted from blood loss. You okay?" Had the siren hit him? "I'm fine. That shield saved our lives. Speaking of which, how did you do it? Y'know. The force-field." You didn't really know how to explain this. Mephisto (no Gennie, not your clone) had told you not to reveal of the necklace's existence. "I, um." There was no choice. He already saw the gem's power. You may as well get it over with.

"My necklace is magic. The gem is from a legend. I only recently received it as a gift for my birthday. " 'Here comes his reaction' You thought. "Your necklace makes force-fields?!? That's awesome! I ,uh, guess you saw me drawing me sword huh?" It came back to you. You saw Rin draw Kurikara. "Yeah. I did. It doesn't bother me though. It makes you unique. " You didn't have to lie here, you were telling the truth. "It doesn't bother you that I'm a demon? Your the first." You felt since Rin was going all out, you should too.

"Rin, this is probably going to freak you out more than finding out your a demon. My necklace doesn't just create shields. It sent me here. I'm not from your dimension." 'How would he react?' you wondered. Only one way to find out. "What do you mean?" You told him everything. Your birthday, the fight, your wish, everything.

After telling Rin everything, you noticed it was now 8 at night. You hadn't even noticed because after telling him your story, you started talking more like friends. You felt like you were really getting close.
