When you awoke, you found yourself strapped against the wall of an abandoned warehouse, surrounded by hundreds of hungry, bloodthirsty demons held on chains. Behemoths, greenmen, reapers, you name it! Right in front of your eyes, was their leader. Amaimon. The demon king of earth.
"So I see you awaken. Pity. I was so hoping to surprise you." The green haired Prince said. You scowled at his reveal. "Bastard. Let me out!" You shouted, anger fueling your voice like gas to a car. "Oh, but then I won't be able to let my pets feed. And I can't let them go hungry, can I?" Needle hair said with a still look on,his face. That's what you hated about Amaimon. He always thinks everything is a game. Then you realized. He was playing with you from the start.
You remembered almost stepping on a rodent sized animal when you were entering the carnival. You remembered that Amaimon could transform into a hamster. Now you were pissed. You wanted to kick his almost-not-there ass! If only you could reach your necklace.
"Oh well. I'm getting bored, so I better see some blood get splattered to entertain me." He said, letting a behemoths chain slip from his grasp. The creature swiftly ran over to your restrained body and crunched into your leg. "GAAHH!" You screamed. You saw your blood run down your calf as the monsters slender tongue lapped it up. 'Where the hell are you, Rin?' You wondered to yourself, as you began losing consciousness.
Rin's pov
'Dammit. Where the hell did he take her?' I thought as I ran through the streets of rye academy town. I had followed Amaimon as soon as I saw him. I heard a scream. '(Y/N)!' I said to myself. I ran into an abandoned storage unit where I had heard the cry. I felt something drop on my face. I wiped my forehead to see a drop of blood. She was upstairs. I dashed up the stairs, reaching for my sword in the progress. When I reached the top floor, I stood dead in my tracks. I saw at least one hundred demons on chains, Amaimon on the back of a reaper, and a behemoth making a meal out of an unconscious (Y/N). 'She must've fainted from loss of blood.' I thought. At that moment, I lost my temper.
"AMAIMON!" I shouted. He looked back, a gasp escaped from his mouth. "YAY! Are you here to play with me too?!?" He said, a smile lighting up his face. "Release her. NOW!" I reached for the Koma Sword's handle. "Mm. No. I don't think so. My minions are very hungry and I would hate for them to starve. I'll give her back when all my minions are full." The demon replied. I'd had enough. I drew Kurikara. Blue flames erupted from my body. I was taking her back. With or without a fight.
"Oh, you do want to play? Alright. If you insist on it." The girl-abducting demon said, ready to fight. I ran over, ready to stab him in the back. He simply blocked the attack by a quick leap into the air, making me strike the reaper instead, turning it hostile. 'Oh shit.' I thought. This was going to be a long fight.

Your pov
When I awoke, I was in my bed in my dorm. 'I must've passed out when Amaimon sent his behemoth on me.' You thought, as your leg greeted you with a sharp pain. You removed the covers to see bandages going all the way down your calf. (Yes. Your baby cow. No! The muscle-y part of your leg!) You tried to get out of bed and walk around. You were slightly successful. You limped a lot. You noticed some crutches over by the door. You didn't need them. You were perfectly fine walking on your own. You noticed Izumo was gone. You knew instantaneously you were out cold for at least one day. You checked your phone to see what day it was. Thursday, September 24 2015, 12:09 p.m. You were out for almost a week! You had to have lost a lot of blood to be fainted for so long. You looked out the window to see your friends sitting at your usual lunch table. Then you saw Rin. He must've been the one to carry you home! He does care about you! You changed uniforms and ran outside to greet your friends.
As you hurried over to the table, Shiemi saw you approaching. "(Y/N)!" She called out with a smile on her face. Everyone looked toward you with facial expressions of happiness and surprise. (Except Shima. He had hearts for eyes. Anime, am I right?) You hugged Shiemi as you noticed that Rin didn't seem so happy. He walked over to you with a cold expression on his face. "Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" He asked, sounding irritated. "Sure!" You replied in a joyful tone, trying to brighten his mood. He led you over to the fountain in the center of the quad (The big space with all the outdoor lunch tables). "Listen, I don't think we should be together anymore." He said, his voice hitting your ears like a stone. "Wh-what..?" You said in disbelief. "But you were the one to ask me out in the first place." You counter acted. "Yeah so? Sorry (Y/N), but I've lost interest in You." His words struck you like lightning. Tears pricking your eyes like needles to cloth. "I thought I finally found someone who cared about me. I guess I was wrong." You said in disappointed tone before letting out tears like a dam had broke in your eyes and running away.
Rin's pov
'Please don't go.' I wanted to say. 'You are loved' I wanted to tell her. 'Please stay.' I wanted to shout after her. 'I love you.' I wanted to admit. I wanted her to be safe. I knew the only way for her to be safe, was not only to hurt her but to hurt me too. 'I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Your loved so much more than you know. Forgive me for being so blind....'
