Broken Hearts and Helping Hands

As you struggled to fight the tears barricading your eyes, you ran back to your dorm, passing Yukio on the way back. "Hi (Y/N). Are you al-" "DONT TALK TO ME!!!" you interrupted him midsentence. You felt too heart broken to talk to anyone. Even Shiemi, who was chasing after you. Once you returned to your room, you slid down the door, sat on the wood floor and began bawling into your knees. Then, there was a knock at the door.

"(Y/N)? It's Shiemi. Are you okay? We're here for you if you want." The kind-hearted girl asked, her voice being slightly muffled by the wooden door. "N-no! I'm f-fine." You told her, sobbing between words. You managed to make your way over to the bed and flopped down. You heard the door open as you buried your wet face into your soft pillow.

"(Y/N), what happened? Please tell me! Your my friend!" Shiemi begged you to cough up, but you only replied in sobs. Once you stoped crying, you decided to spill the beans.

You told her about Rin, about the date, about being kidnapped, your leg, and the painful part, the fact that Rin hated you.
"Oh (Y/N). I think Rins' only trying to protect you. I bet he thinks the only way for you to be safe is to not have you around him. He gets into trouble a lot and I bet he doesn't want you getting hurt!" She tried to comfort you, but you didn't believe her.
"No. I could see it in his eyes. Rin never liked me." You told the blonde haired girl. She could tell you were heart broken.

"Why don't you play me some of your guitar? That always makes you happy!" Again she tried cheering you up. "Okay." You agreed hesitantly as you grabbed your electric guitar. (See video)

You played a few chords to warm up, before you started playing "I'm Just Your Problem" from Adventure Time. "Sorry I don't treat you like a God. Is that what you want me to do? Sorry I don't treat you like your perfect like all your little loyal friends do. Sorry I'm not made of sugar. Am I not sweet enough for you? Is that why you always avoid me? That must be such an inconvenience to you!" You about to play more, when Shiemi stopped you. "Wow. You really are heart broken, huh? Nee? Could you grow some water lilies for me?" She asked her demon. Water lilies were your favorite flower. She handed you the plant as a tear fell from your face, landing on the smooth petals. You watched as the flower withered and died in your hands.

Yukios p.o.v

'Dammit Rin!' I thought to myself as I stormed over to my brother. I had been mad at my brother for being stupid before, but now I was pissed. As I approached the lunch table, I grabbed my brother by his hair and dragged him over to the fountain.
"Ow! What's your problem, four eyes?!?"
"Can you explain to me why I just saw (Y/N) running to her dorm in tears?!" I impatiently asked my brother. In that second, his face went pale. He knew he was in trouble.
"W-well, I uh-"
"You didn't break up with her, did you?!?" I was livid. He wasn't getting off easily this time!
"So what if I did? She probably didn't even like me anyway!"
"Do you know how fragile a girl's heart is? Chances are its going to be at least a day before you see her again. Let alone a month before she talks to you!" I knew I had to get a point across. I had to say something so that he'd listen to me.

"Before you asked her out, I overheard her talking to Shiemi. She said she had a crush on you Rin!" I saw his eyes widen. His eyes became glossy and I could tell he was holding back tears, something extremely rare coming from him. I knew I had made my point.

Rin's pov

"(Y/N)." I thought of her. I had just made the biggest mistake of my life. I wasn't going to let her go. I knew I loved her, but I just discovered she loved me back.
"Sorry Yukio. I-I have to fix this!" I said before dashing off towards (Y/N)'s dorm.

Your p.o.v

Shiemi had left. You guessed she realized there was nothing she could do. You buried your face in your arms, and then there was a voice.
'Come. Relieve yourself of this pain. Stop your misery.' It said. You looked over to where it was coming from. Your wandering eyes landed on your dagger. As if you were hypnotized, you began walking over to it. You picked it up and unscathed the blade. You felt your hand make the daggers way to in front of your throat.
'It will be painless. Just one small quick swipe and it'll be all over.' The voice said. You raised the blade closer to your throat, as you heard the door open.

"NO!"
