The silence stretched between us for a long, long time.

"Aren't you going to tell me that you like me, too?" He asked, suggestively.

How the hell can he do that?

But, is this really as out of the blue as it seems?

We have been spending a lot of time together. We've been on a date. Two, if you count Sunday.

Maybe......he's been doing this, all along.

I couldn't stop a blush from smacking itself across my face at the realization.

Oh, my god, I might actually like this pervert.

"Ah, your blushing."

".......yeah.....I do like you........I like you, a lot."

And for the first time since I've known him, he offered a small, warm smile to me. He slowly lowered his head to mine. Our foreheads lightly touched and-

"Ah, wait!" I slightly pushed him back.

He blinked, "Huh? What?"

"I-I'm sorry, but I'm in a fake relationship, right now." I told him.

He squinted at me, "Come again?"

"I'm......helping Luki with his family problems. I have to pretend to be in a relationship with him-!"

He cut me off, "Yeah, ok. I'm thinking about kissing you right now, I don't exactly need you mentioning him."

"N-Noted, but-"

"You said that you liked me a lot. Is that true?"

I nodded as he said, "Then, there's nothing keeping me from you. Whether the relationship you have with that shit is real or fake."

I didn't have time to think as he softly pressed his lips to mine. It sent an electric shock through my body, quickly replaced by a tingling feeling over every inch of my skin.

He pulled back to look at me, "You smell and kiss better than your pillow."

"Thanks, I appreciate it." I smiled, laughing, a little.

He rolled off of me and onto his back, next to me, "So. What's this fake relationshit like?"

I said, "Luki asked me to pretend to me his boyfriend until his parents stop trying to get him and some rich girl together."

"Why didn't you say no?"

"I already told him that I'd do anything to help."

He was quiet for a while, before saying, "I don't like this."

"Hm?"

He turned his head and kissed my cheek, "I have to go home. See you, tomorrow."

"Oh, ok."

I walked him to the door and to the porch.

"Don't miss me, too much." He grinned.

"Wouldn't worry about that."

He turned to leave, but stopped to look at me. Instead of normally ruffling my hair, with much pain, he gently ran his fingers through my hair, followed by a kiss.

He waved and went home.

(Next day.......)

I was walking the halls, while classes were still going on. The lady at the front desk said that since my grades were really good for just transferring, I could run a few errands for her.

"You are such a fucking prick." I heard from one of the small hallways, leading outside.

I looked in and saw Akaito and Luki talking. Kind of.

Both looked pretty mad.

"Above everyone else, you'd pick Mikuo." Akaito growled.

Luki shrugged, "He offered."

I hid behind the corner, but saw Rin and Nero approaching. They gave me uncertain looks as they hid behind the other corner.

I put a finger to my lips as they stayed quiet.

"This is stupid. Why don't you talk to Mikuo about this if you're so upset about it?" Luki muttered.

Akaito scoffed, "I did. But he feels obligated to help you. Probably because you're so fucking pathetic. You can't even tell your family what you want."

"I'm definitely the pathetic one between us. I've seen what you've been doing. Chasing after Mikuo like he's something special."

Nero and Rin exchanged a look to the other.

"He's just short and pale as hell. I mean, who wouldn't hit that? That's probably why you think you like him." Luki stated.

This is weird. I've never heard Luki talk like this.

Akaito retorted, "I do like him, but I'm not desperate. Mikuo is basically flawless, you would've been better off asking him out, for real."

"Oh, Akaito, so naive. I'm not even gay. This whole thing is one big joke. I'm not the one that doesn't want to marry that rich girl, she's the one that wants nothing to do with me. My family has dirt on hers and we won't let her get away." Luki laughed.

Rin was fuming across the hallway. Nero tried to calm her down, but she wasn't budging.

"You are a cheeky shit. If you think I'm letting you anywhere near Mikuo again, you're a dreamer." Akaito hissed.

Luki smirked, "Whatever. My front is perfect, he won't believe you."

Me and Nero quickly led Rin away before she exploded.

We made it to the courtyard.

"I can't believe that guy! No wonder he sounded so fake!" Rin huffed.

Nero sighed, "Yeah, yeah. Should've seen it coming."

Their reactions came to surprise me.

"So, Mikuo. Are you and Akaito together? He said some pretty nice things about you back there." Nero pointed out.

I fiddled with my fingers, "Y-Yeah, we got together, yesterday."

"Aw! That's actually really adorable." Rin blinked, "But, what are we supposed to do about Luki? Stop talking to him?"

Nero frowned, "But if he can get dirt on a rich family, what can he do to us??"

The two sighed.

"We can probably just do the same thing. You know, just act fake, back. Like how girls interact with each other."
