Link's P.O.V

I awoke to find Zelda absent from bed. I rolled over on my back to look around the room for her. The room was dark due to the closed curtains but a small crack of light snuck out from under the door leading to the bathroom. I sauntered out of bed and stuck a pair of pants. As I was looping my belt around my waist I gently pushed the bathroom door open with my side. Zelda was unaware of my entrance as she hummed quietly to herself. Her clothes sat idle in a pile on the floor. Zelda sat with her back to me as she bathed herself in a large brass tub that stood in the center of the room. I slowly creeped up behind her and grabbed her shoulders. "Ahh!" She exclaimed as she dropped her soap in the water. She spun around to look at me. Zelda covered her chest with her arms in embarrassment. "Oh relax Zellie, its nothing I haven't seen before." I teased. Zelda suddenly turned bright red as she tried to sink lower into the water. "Good morning to you too." She murmured beneath the water. I shook my head and laughed at her. "You know it wasn't necessary to scare me like that." She pouted. "Oh but it was!" I laughed as I knelt beside the tub. Zelda rolled her eyes as she struggled to find the soap she had dropped. I then reached into the tub and fished out the bar of soap for her. "Allow me." I suggested. Zelda then smiled and leaned her head on the side of the tub. I gently lathered her with soap and then cupped my hands to pour the cool water over her ivory skin. As I continued to wash her I felt her hand against my chest. I looked down to see that she was tracing her fingers along the scar of my last fatal wound. "That's what killed you." She whispered. I sighed and reached for her hand at my chest. "Yes, but you're what saved me." I responded as I kissed her forehead. "I love you." She whispered. "I love you too." I chuckled. It suddenly hit me that last night was the first time I had made love to Zelda. I felt a surge of pride and overwhelming love in this moment. I stared at her in awe as she sat in the bath tub with her hair loosely pinned back in a bun. She was beautiful. "What are you staring at?" Zelda asked."You. You're beautiful." I answered truthfully. She shied away again as she turned and got out of the tub and turned her back to me. I followed her out of the bathroom and back into her room. Our clothes were strewn all over the floor while the sheets were unmade. Zelda then opened bent down and scooped up my shirt. She slipped it on over her head and then faced me. "Hungry?" She asked. "Starving." I chuckled. Zelda then scurried towards the door leading into the castle. She cracked it open and stuck her head out. "Can you tell the maids to bring my breakfast to my room?" She asked the guard outside. "Of course your Highness." The guard stated. I remained hidden so the guard did not see me but as Zelda closed the door I emerged. "Are you sure this is the best idea?" I asked. "Yes, just enjoy this with me please." Zelda begged. She then plopped herself on her bed and curled up within the sheets. I sat on the edge of the bed and gently stroked her cheek. "Link there's something I need to tell you." Zelda sighed. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "Milady I have your breakfast." A feminine voice stated from behind the door. I quickly hid while Zelda got up and answered the door. "Thank you." Zelda stated as she took the tray of food from the maid and closed the door behind her. I sat on the bed while Zelda set the tray down in front of me. "Dig in." She laughed as she snatched and apple from the fruit bowl on the tray. I nibbled at the food only to see that Zelda was getting dressed for the day. "What was it you wanted to tell me?" I asked. Zelda suddenly paused and looked away. Zelda opened her mouth to explain but there was yet another knock at the door. "Hide!" Zelda exclaimed. I quickly dived underneath the bed and tried my best not to make a sound.
